Where the Forests Meets the Stars
Joanna Teale after losing her mother and then her battle with cancer made a return to her research in graduation. It was on the nesting birds in rural Illinois. She was quite determined to prove a point that all of her hardships in the recent time have not broken her.
She puts herself into a long working routine every day from dusk to dawn. However, this solitary routine of Joanna Teale gets disrupted with the appearance of an enigmatic child who shows up barefoot at her work cabin and was covered in bruises.
The girl refers to herself as Ursa. She said that she is sent from the stars to witness five different miracles on Earth. Joanne in this situation reluctantly agrees for letting her stay as she was concerned about the situation of the child.
Joanne further took the help of Gabriel Nash, her neighbor to solve this mystery of the beautiful child. But, they started to have a lot of questions about the time that they spent with each other.
The story of this book is amazing along with its characters. However several people seem to be having complaints with the character of Ursa who was too annoying at times.
