Aliens attacked on the earth and the people of the earth stood against it with their full courage which didn’t prove sufficient. Technology as well as the number of human beings fighting against the enemy was no match against the mighty Ruhr.
The sky of the mother earth got covered with the enemy ships and all the humans can wait for after that was their destruction. Nothing remained for anyone and in this time of hopelessness, there came a ray of hope out of the blue. Another alien species entered the earth’s atmosphere and it proved friendly as compared to the first one. The human forces started a joint venture with the new aliens and started fighting against the Ruhar.
COLUMBUS DAY AUDIOBOOK
Soon the enemy could be seen retreating and the new alliance did work well for both sides. When the US Expeditionary Force started trusting the ally completely the Kristang forces started showing their true colors. Human forces realize that they have backed the wrong horse. Ruhar were never the enemies of the human race rather Kristang was playing a game with both of these races.
Craig Alanson makes conspiracy rise at the climax just like Brushfire and Critical Mass. R.C. Bray also goes from low to high in pitch while narrating the action and suspense in the story. The novel does not end the story because this is only the beginning of a new war that human beings have set upon themselves. Kristang forces know all the weaknesses of the humans and they can manipulate them better for the years to come. One thing is for sure i.e the humans have lost control of the earth.
