The Dark Horse audiobook free

I first heard about the Longmire series after seeing the TV show. I liked the characters and thought I would read one of the books to get a little more background on the characters. I WAS HOOKED! The books were in depth and told the story far better than the series. Don’t get me wrong, the TV series is great and the actors do an outstanding job, but let’s face it. It is adapted for TV.

If you want to know the REAL characters, relationships, and character history, you have got to read this series!
I became hooked and just finished this, the fifth book, and loved it… I will be buying the sixth book very shortly!

Audiobook The Dark Horse by Craig Johnson

Craig Johnson simply finds the right words and arranges them in a pattern designed to entrap and excite the reader on each and every page of his books. Listening to him speak near Centennial, Wyoming, at the Fish-On-Ranch, last summer was a highlight of 2019. Though the tv series was great, Johnson’s books are much better and more real. These stories, exciting and involved, are Wyoming in so many, many ways. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Audio The Dark Horse narrated by George Guidall

This fifth entry in the Longmire series is an outstanding addition to a fabulous set of mysteries starring Walt Longmire. Walt is the Sheriff of the fictional Absaroka County in rural Wyoming. The author creates some interesting sidekicks for the sheriff, such as Deputy Vic Moretti, Henry, the Cheyenne Nation, Standing Bear, and Dog, picked up in an earlier book in the series. Although each book can be read alone it’s more fun to read them in order. Well Done, Mr Johnson. Keep more Longmire novels coming.

I have to force myself to read other books between Craig Johnson’s Longmire books so that I do not read all of them too quickly. Of course, I enjoy digging into other authors’ vivid imaginations, but I am an addict of Longmire novels. The Dark Horse was another avid read and once again, I was sorry to let go of the characters.
