Inked (Bad Boy Next Door #1)

I really enjoyed this book. I wasn\’t sure about Maddy at the beginning though. She was a bit standoffish and a little to bitchy. But she finally mellowed out into a good character. Katie on the other hand I found completely annoying. And I loved Zane. I do wish they talked a little more in depth about their lives to each other. Like her telling Zane about Zach. And Zane actually telling her his life story and what brought him to where he is. The chapters also jumped around without giving you and idea on time frame. The epilogue doesn\’t tell you how many years or months have passed. And I like to know the ages of my characters. Besides those little details I really liked this book. It was funny. Steamy. Interesting and action packed. Kept you wanting to read. Zane himself keeps you wanting to read. Overall a great story with a nice ending.

If you like a fast relationship, fast story, with a slightly annoying female lead than this story is for you. Maddy and her father were both horrible judgemental characters. And don\’t even get me started on the mob aspect of this book because it was basically non -existent except for just mentioning periodically about them. The drama in this book was just like a passing thought. The sex scenes mediocre and the overall feeling I had of this book was boring and dull. Not a fan but it was a freebie!

I really enjoyed this book! Zane is a tatted up,all muscle gorgeous male alpha! He has his own tattoo shop and does really well for himself. He\’s judged by his outwards appearance as a bad boy,keep away from my daughter type of guy. But he\’s also a sweetheart and protective. Maddie is a good girl,studying at the local University. She was hurt really bad by her high school sweetheart and trusts no man. Maddie was a little too whinny for me and fought her feelings for Zane from start almost till the end. She redeemed herself in my eyes at the end of the book though. I loved her friend Katie. That girl was kickass! When Zane and Maddie meet whether they\’re arguing or loving its explosive! Finally when their relationship seems stable an incident in Zane\’s shop occurs and has their relationship slipping away from them. Maddie is shocked to discover that Zane\’s involved with the mob. But things aren\’t what they appear to be! You need to read Inked and see for yourself! It\’s a fast fun sexy read! Very enjoyable!

I\’m so glad this wasn\’t actually a long story, but it looked like that with the other 2 included. It was just so fast and so unrealistic, like nobody moves that fast. To get through this one I\’ve read so fast! There was a bit drama but it was quickly solved and just so predictable. I\’m sorry for all the ones who loved it, it\’s just not my thing! For all the ones who haven\’t read it, don\’t let my review stop you! So this one includes 2 other stories : Relentless and Dirty Dom.

Zane Stone, an ink artist, was linked to the mob and he had regretted it all the time. He had met Madelyne in a bar and she had been hard to get but he was not going to give up. Maddie had been hurt by her boyfriend and she had vowed she would not trust again but the attraction for the bad boy was intense and she felt about to succumb. But seemed that being with Zane was dangerous for Maddie and when all was lose Zane had to trust his mentor to help them. An interesting fast paced story with action, intrigue, suspense, danger, violence, sex, interesting characters and a very witty amusing friend who made me laugh a lot with her comments. Received the ARC for an honest review
