Imaginations touch the sky from the first chapter of the novel, from the first chapter it looks like a book for kids but it can engage adults and youngsters more strongly. Jim dies at the start of the story and the surroundings become dull when there is lifelessness all around.
But Jim is amazed to see that he can open his eyes once again and can move his body too. The place where he finds himself is neither home nor heaven. From the look of it, Jim assumes that he has stuck in the middle of somewhere.

His ideas are soon dashed to the ground when his mind resembles the surrounding with an old and outdated video game. The words “How or Why” come into his mind but he is not left with any time to reason with his mind. He has not awoken in this video game as a human being rather he is a Noob. Monsters present in the game hunt the Noobs because they are programmed in this way. Thus the first thing which Jim has to do is to run as far as possible from the monsters.
After saving his life and finding a place to hide and rest the man starts joining the pieces of the puzzle in his mind so that he can calculate how he landed in a video game after his death. Ryan Rimmel gives a second chance to Jim in the novel but the chance is peculiar. Dungeons and Noobs and Castle of the Noobs take the dream of the author further as the listeners listen more about the creatures known as the Noobs. Johnathan McClain has an aggressive sound but he has not used it in narrating the novel perhaps the narrator wanted to keep this book on the level of the children.
