This is the third book in the Too Far series by Abbi Glines. It is full length, has rock stars, lots of drama, a wedding, a baby, and a girl with a gun. Oh yah there is also some great steamy scenes! Rush Findlay is the son of a famous drummer. He use to live a rich, wild life now he just lives each day for Blaire. Blaire Wynn is in love with Rush they are engaged and can’t wait to get married but first they need to settle some family issues. Blaire’s is afraid the Rush’s family will always get in the way of their relationship. Hopefully Rush can prove that he will always put Blaire first. This is the best book of the three in the series as far as I am concerned. A lot of the over the top family drama has already been revealed (although the author throws in a little more) and its more of handling the issues within the family that are already known. You get a glimpse into some of the side characters stories which is getting you ready for the books to come. I like this one the best as well because Rush finally feels settled and committed, he stumbles a little bit, but he has finally learned from past mistakes, quickly recovers and does the right thing. Anyway, this book was worth the read and the price. Enjoy!

Forever Too Far audiobook in series Rosemary Beach
Book 3 was pointless. It was more of the same. Blaire and her sweet innocence. Rush acting totally p-whipped and crazy Nan with her childish antics. When we met Rush he was bad-boy and cool. Now he is a puppy dog drooling after his sugary sweet girlfriend. I wanted to choke Nan. She was super annoying and no brother would continually chase after her and put up with her crap. I never really liked Blaire to begin with. She is too country bumpkin for me! Is anybody with me on that one? I guess the author felt the need to wrap up B&R\’s story by getting them married and the baby being born but it was all very mundane. Rush\’s dad, Dean and Nan\’s dad, Kiro get more time in this book. But honestly, they read like scumbag white trash. It was embarrassing. If you read Book 1 (which was the best) and Book 2, there is no need to suffer through Book 3. Skip it!

Audiobook Forever Too Far by Abbi Glines
I’ve read this book so many times. Rush and Blaire are expecting Nate soon and getting married and of course having to help with Nan’s crazy self. They have some problems but always work it out. I love Rush’s love for Blaire. He’s such a strong, possessive man but so sweet and giving to Blaire. Blaire is perfect. She’s so forgiving and loving. They are both great characters and perfect for each other. Again, Blaire’s grief over her mom still hurts my heart. Her struggles around the holidays and seeing her Dad made me cry. I like Dean as well. I love how he is towards Blaire. The storyline was great as was the writing. The characters are always great. The book is a page turner because their story is entertaining. The ending is great. Blaire can be a complete bad@$$. LOL With her gun! This is definitely a series I’d recommend to everyone.

Audio Forever Too Far narrated by Jennifer Bronstein
Well, I\’ve made it through the Too Far trilogy by Abbi Glines. Did I like it? Yes. It was quick to read through all three books. I did end up really liking Rush and Blaire as a couple in many ways. The writing was engaging and very good in many ways. I liked it. But I didn\’t love it. There were too many things within the plot that bugged me. And ultimately those things were enough to keep me from fully enjoying these books as I read them. I don\’t think that everyone will necessarily feel the same way as I do, but here are my thoughts: Forever Too Far is like one gigantic epilogue, candy put together solely to please the fans of the series. What do I mean by that? Well, this book didn\’t really have a giant plot that tied it together. Instead we were thrown into scene after scene after scene of Rush and Blaire having significant couple moments. We get to experience the great moments of Blaire\’s pregnancy, a marriage, the birth, new baby moments, holiday moments … you know, all those warm, fuzzy moments that make us smile once our chosen couple has found a way to make things work. Thrown in for good measure is a lot of angst due to Nan and her general witchiness. I hated these moments in the book. Nan is horrible. Her father, Kiro, is horrible. There is very little redeeming to find in either of these characters. Kiro doesn\’t really affect Blaire or Rush, but he is an excellent case study for horrible parenting styles. Nan is just … goodness, I just can\’t come up with the right word. She is selfish, hateful, manipulative, volatile, and pitiful, usually all at the same time. I can handle characters like this if there is some sort of growth shown throughout the book. But I hate reading about horrible people who just stay horrible. It isn\’t fun. And I don\’t want to waste my time involved in their lives if they aren\’t going to show any marked improvement by the end of the book. Nan seemed to simply exist as a plot device so that Blaire and Rush could have some sort of conflict in this book. Outside of the obvious moments in this book meant to showcase our happy couple\’s happily ever after, there are a few side plots that never seem to actually resolve themselves. They are there, but I can\’t understand why. Nan\’s story is the obvious unresolved story since she leaves in such a pitiful state, but without any real closure to her horrible circumstances brought on by her own horrible personality. There is a story line involving Woods, one of my favorite secondary characters in the series. Obviously all of it would make more sense if I had read his book from the spin-off series first, but even without that knowledge I was able to follow along. The biggest unresolved issue involved Grant and Harlow. Their interaction was a big enough plot point that Grant and Harlow each got a chapter to narrate on their own. He sees her, decides that it would be totally romantic and enticing for him to come after her and immediately start the dirty talk (seriously, are their girls out there who would find it lovely to be approached by a stranger and hear these sorts of comments come from their lips before knowing who they are? I think I\’d be pulling out my mace and telling the guy to back up. Ewwww!) Anyway, it seems like there is a hint of a future relationship and then … NOTHING. Why? I assume that Grant is going to get his own series later. I hope so. Otherwise that was the most pointless two chapter interruption in book history. Rush and Blaire were okay in this story. I still felt like they shouldn\’t be getting married with all of Rush\’s weirdness about his sister and Blaire\’s inability to trust that he could make her a priority in his life. But it happened, and the ending was a sweet one. I did like their happy moments. This is just me, I guess, but after three books I have to say that Rush\’s caveman behavior and his need to label Blaire\’s body parts as \”his\” got a bit creepy. It bugged me when he told Blaire to change her clothes because he didn\’t want other men to see her looking too sexy. It bugged me that Rush was so possessive about her around other men. Maybe I have an unusual marriage, but when my husband and I fell in love, we were secure enough in our feelings for each other that we really didn\’t spend a lot of time obsessing about how other people might make the moves on our partner. But Rush is fairly insecure about these things, needing to stake his claim through metaphorical pissing contests. Irritating after three books of this. Having said all this, not everyone will have these issues with the plot. Abbi Glines can write engaging and enjoyable books. My issues with them are not related to her writing abilities. They may boil more down to personal tastes. I am glad to have spent the last week reading through this series. I may decide in the future to read Woods story, although it is described as a bit darker. I just can\’t give this story more than three stars. I liked it. I just didn\’t come to love it.

After some highs and low Blair and Rush as all set for their happily ever after. Then the she birch from bell, otherwise known as Nan, Rushs sister rears her head again. I can honestly say she is one of my favourite book bitches, and I say that because I can not stand her. She is so well written to be such a spoilt, selfish brat that I truly don\’t think if I lived in Rosemary Beach I would get fed up slapping her. Her attention seeking antics put pressure on Blair and Rushs relationship until he finally wakes up and realises he is her brother, not her father and that he has the right to a happy life of his own. I loved the tender way Blair\’s first holidays without her mum was handled.
