Rush Too Far audiobook free

Each and every time I open a book it is like Christmas, I am 6 years old, anticipating the gift that I will receive.. I never want to be disappointed, I want to feel joy for days on end.. Sadly, this book did not quite do it for me. I have read what I believe to be the entire series of Rush/Blaire books and I have to say, with each successive installment they just get… more predictable. The formula is as follows… some plot, lots of sex bad boy misbehaves, bad boy has moment of \”clarity\” and yeah… predictable. Disclaimer, I like stories with bad boys and I like some erotica but.. when the formula gets entirely unsurprising it just gets… boring. I think that there are some good bones to this book.. though I am not sure I will read this particular work again. I will keep an open mind to what she publishes in the future.

Rush Too Far audiobook in series Rosemary Beach

I must confess I have never experienced the Rush Crush that so many of my fellow readers have raved about. I was never overly impressed with Rush\’s feelings for Blaire in the Too Far Series. He talks a mean game about how much he loves Blaire how he will always put her first, but his actions have repeatedly said the complete opposite. I don\’t hate Rush; he is okay but in my opinion falls short of what I think Blaire deserved (Sorry….Woods was my first choice for Blaire). So going into Rush Too Far I really didn\’t know what to expect. Sometimes these alternative POV books rehash scenes and become boring quickly, but this was not the case for Rush\’s POV. Yes, key scenes are revisited with Rush\’s spin; I think I needed those to really get the whole picture of what was going on between Rush and Blaire. What surprised me was the additional scenes and conversations that Rush had with Abe (Blaire\’s father), Grant, Woods, and of course the lovely Nan. I appreciated reading those interactions I think they added so much to the story. My opinion of Rush hasn\’t really changed any even after reading his point of view. I really grew frustrated with his babying of Nan. I understand he loves her and feels responsible for her, but good grief some of the reason she is such a bitch is because of Rush. I really hated Nan even more after reading this book. She really irked my last nerve and if I didn\’t love my Kindle so much I really would have thrown it against a wall out of shear anger whenever she appeared in the book. I was disappointed in Grant. When I initially read Fallen Too Far, I thought Grant pushed Blaire onto Rush thinking he\’d fall for her eventually, but actually Grant warned Rush repeatedly not to fall for Blaire reminding Rush of his responsibility to Nan. I felt kind of let down by Grant……in all honesty though I have had issues with Grant since Take A Chance so my feelings may be due to the fact I am harboring a grudge against the poor guy. Overall, I enjoyed this book and highly recommend reading it. Just to clarify, while I don\’t have a Rush Crush I do have a serious author\’s crush on Abbi Glines! I thoroughly enjoy her writing.

Audiobook Rush Too Far by Abbi Glines

So once I picked this up I DEVOURED it and could NOT put it down. Rush blew every single expectation I had out of the water! I ALWAYS love a male POV more and Rush did NOT disappoint. We got to learn all his thoughts, feelings, emotions, traits we didn\’t get from Blaire\’s POV. We got to see how he felt about Nan,Abe, his mother, Grant, Woods, etc and it was epic and enlightening. We got tiny new scenes and interactions with characters that was not in the originals, very nice additions. Rush tried to fight it, but he was captivated by Blaire. It was so beautiful, I don\’t even have words to say how much I loved this! the only thing I do not like is that it ended!!!! I want to know what he feels when Blaire shows up, when he finds out she is pregnant, trying to get her back, etc. I WANT more Rush POV but I will gladly take whatever Abbi gives us. This was pure perfection and I loved it more than Fallen Too Far. Thank you for one of the best series EVER Abbi and thank you for Rush <3 I cannot get enough. You will NOT be disappointed with this, promise! #Rushcrush \”I will fix this. I swear I will make it right. I love you enough to get us through this. I just need you to love me enough. Please, Blaire. Love me enough,\”

Audio Rush Too Far narrated by Jennifer Bronstein

4.5 stars. Abbi Glines delivered everything I expected and more with Rush\’s perspective from Fallen Too Far. It\’s strange remembering what a jerk I thought he was the beginning of that book because my feelings were completely different this time around. I could completely understand his feelings of wariness toward her, and even in those early scenes I could tell he wasn\’t really a bad guy, just conflicted. My heart went out to him over the guilt he felt regarding Nan and his role in Abe\’s departure from Blaire\’s life. Rush was so drawn to Blaire, but he knew he would hurt his sister by having a relationship with her. I adored how protective he was of Blaire almost immediately. It was so sweet watching his tenderness and desire to make her happy. His feelings ran much deeper much earlier than I had thought, and I loved watching him open up his heart to Blaire. Rush really beat himself up over how he treated her when she first arrived, and I had a lot of respect for him as he tried to atone for his mistakes. I enjoyed seeing his interactions with Grant and Woods and even Nan. He didn\’t just roll over and let her get away with her nastiness, and I absolutely loved that. What surprised me was how heartbroken I was at the end of this book. I was definitely sad at the end of Fallen Too Far, but feeling the ending from Rush\’s perspective truly hurt my heart.

Love this series! Loved getting Rush’s perspectives on the same events and his thought process. Makes you realise not everything is as it seems and how easy it is to misunderstand situations. Great plot line that keeps you hooked the whole time and you fall in love wit (most) of the characters although some you can’t help dislike! Definitely recommend these books!
