Gator is so sweet, hes very genuine and honest. This book is like the others in the series, love at first sight, inexperienced woman meets handsome, well endowed, over sexed super sized enhanced psychic uber soldier w a constant hard on… theres lots & lots of sex…1st comes love, then comes … well, u know …

This book had much more action & Flame really does go for the gusto, shes bold, ballsy, brash & as it turns out, bald! But i liked camaraderie between the #GhostWalkers is great & good for laughs.

Did I mention the hot sex? Hold on to your boots…

Lots of shoot em ups & death in this one. Careful of the description of the traumatic rape victim if u r PTSD but its only a small section of the book.

And Nonny…what can you say about Nonny? I just love me some Cajun Grand-mere! Shes a bad Mother…watch your mouth bef she washes it out w soap!

This book was enchanting, enthralling and endlessly entertaining where stubbornness and determination to rise above conflict with a core of steel to get to where love and happiness lives! Gator and Flame’s story from this series is filled with paranormal gifts that make the Ghostwalkers who they are and helps them to accomplish the most extraordinary feats!!!

This was just ok for me. I was grossed out but the incessant crawling through he mud and the bayou so I skimmed a lot of this. I kind of liked the characters and their special powers were pretty cool but as I get older I am a little put out by the raunchy sex talk. Nothing against a good sex scene but I just dont need the raunchy parts. Probably wont read the rest of them bc I think 7 and 8$ is too much for a digital book.

Finally Raoul and Flame get together and stay together ! I love Nonny too,everyone should have a granmere like that …As usual the action was fast and hot …!!

Lily has discovered that her brilliant Father purchased several little girls with psychic abilities from foreign countries and performed experiments on them removing their brain filters and enhancing each of them with his maniacal egocentric obsession to create the perfect lethal soldier. She knows now that she is not his biological daughter but one of “the little girls” that he purchased and experimented on. Lily struggles with the knowledge that her Father was a genius and exceeded the results of any other research on the planet but she is torn because he was and is guilty of crimes against humanity. She is driven now to find all of the girls, now women, and rescue them and provide some comfort and support for them. Raoul “Gator” Fontenot is a brilliant dangerous genetically enhanced trained soldier but all the training in the world may not help him on this mission. His Grandmother “Grand-mere” Nonny Fontenot has begged him to come home to the bayou to help find one of the family’s dearest friends that has gone missing. Joy Chiasson is a young beautiful woman that has a beautiful sultry voice and has gone missing throwing everyone into a frantic search to find her with no results. Gator loves his Grand Mere Nonie and heads to the bayou to join his 3 brothers in the search for Joy.

After four weeks of searching Gator hasn’t found Joy – B U T – he spots a woman at the gas station that strikes a note. He can’t believe that he may have stumbled upon the missing Iris “Flame” Johnson – one of the missing girls. She is breath-taking beautiful wearing a skin tight black pair of pants that reveals the “flame” tattoo on her hip. Her hair is thick and red peeking out under the helmet and the motorcycle that she is riding is spectacular. Flame believes that Dr. Peter Whitney is still alive and still experimenting on people and orchestrating “military field exercises” perfecting the perfect lethal soldier.

Gator follows Flame and observes her scaling the wall at Kurt Saunders guarded gated house and waits for her to return leaning lazily on her spectacular souped up motorcycle. Gator recognizes the power that a Ghostwalker exudes and he knows that HE may be in trouble with this red headed powerful woman.

Get comfortable. Be prepared to read this story from start to finish in one setting. The only way this series could be better is to buy the audiobooks and listen to Tom Stechschulte’s rich, enthusiastic and talented voice brings the story to a new level!
