This emotional showpiece of a book was full of characters that the readers will relate to. As I was reading this novel, I felt like I was watching a movie play out on the big screen instead of on the pages of a book. The Love Sisters took me by the hand and lead me on a journey with them as they each told their stories of drug abuse, fear of real love, and self centerless. The Love Sisters were so methodically created that they jump off the page into my heart soul, and had me crying , laughing and praying for their breakthrough as well as their healing of their pasts.
With the grace and skills Veteran Author Amaleka McCall took on topics that readers could relate to but most Authors would have stay away from writing, and deliver them with such class. The message that will hit home with the readers is “A person is a product of their environment, and hurt people will hurt others”.
1Night Stand is a 5 star read that every avid reader so definitely read… Hats off to Amaleka McCall…

I’ve waited so long for a solo project from this author and finally she has delivered! This new series has all the twists and turns and classic “clutch the pearls” scenes that only Amaleka MCCall can produce. Her writing is phenomenal and 1 Night Stand is well worth the wait. I’m chomping at the bit for the second installment in this series!

Great book but ending could have been better.

Beyond AWESOME! I hope this boom becomes a movie or tv show. I couldn’t stop reading!

A CAPTIVATING DRAMA FILLED READ!!
Do the results of a One Night Stand linger forever? Ava, a former back-up singer, whose career never flourished or lead to fame or stardom, was determined that her three daughters, Harmony, Melody and Lyric would have a lucrative singing career as a group, that would lead to fame, with Melody as the lead singer and STAR!! Ava cracked the whip, was verbally and physically abusive, made her daughters, practice, practice, practice, no matter the cost. Ava treated Melody like a queen, despised Harmony, and sold Lyric’s body and soul, in order to achieve group’s STARDOM! The results of Ava’s treatment of her daughters’, leaves them all mentally and emotionally scared and bruised. When Ava passes away, the sisters, who have been estranged, re-unite, carrying all of their emotional baggage and drama. All three sisters have drama with the men in their lives, which they are desperately trying to deal with and heal. Melody is truly Ava’s daughter, and renders emotion abuse on both Harmony and Lyric, and she has no conscience regarding her actions. Will the sisters re-unite as a singing group, or will, continuing unresolved issues and drama, prevent this effort? Well, you must read the book and the others in the series to find out the answer. I truly enjoyed Ms. McCalls novel and story-line, and look forward to reading the entire series!
