This is a family story, but not any ordinary family\’s story. It is a mystery, but not any ordinary mystery. Most of all is it simply an extraordinary delightful story with a bit of history, a bit of mystery and a most delightful cast of characters as I\’ve met in some time. I was in no rush to finish this story, it was so much fun and the people were so delightful and friendly and caring. I just wish I actually knew them. In the end the mystery is solved and some things about the family\’s history are discovered and I will miss them. This was very simply a really good story! For anyone looking for a good tale to enjoy, this one is it.

FireSong: The Secret Room audiobook in series LeGarde Mysteries
This is a great mystery/thriller/adventure, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! Mr Lazarus\’ writing reflects that he takes great pleasure in the simpler things in life. Even though there are a lot of bad guys doing bad stuff, the protagonist solves all through his faith, and with the aid of family and friends.

Audiobook FireSong: The Secret Room by Aaron Paul Lazar
Refreshing great writing. Exceptional character development. Action upon action. But the best part of this story is the description of the bounty of the land and gardens that the author describes in such detail that transports me back in time to my own childhood in a similar section of upstate NY. Aaron knows what is really important in life, and describes it in vivid detail. The fact that there are a few very dangerous man made as well as natural cataclysmic events going on at the same time is just serendipitous.

Audio FireSong: The Secret Room narrated by Robert King Ross
This book was awesome! It was a touch slow for me in the beginning, but soon picked up and I was hooked. I loved the characters and it took me back to my childhood of which the church was a central part. I love history and I liked digging into the historic pasts of places that I\’ve lived so I felt a kindred spirit with Camille and Oscar.

As a young person, we all piled into the station wagon to visit the grandparents and cousins. It was a glorious time that we anticipated and enjoyed greatly. Coming from a family of preachers made this resonate even more. I enjoyed the details of meals prepared and children cared for. The mysteries uncovered and the challenges overcome added real page turning.
