What a wonderful series, that made me spontaneous laugh, and spontaneously cry. Very few books do that for me when they do they become keepers I went from reading this under kindle unlimited to buying it So I can read again later. Nine a mysterious dark fae protects Riley her whole life, but keeps secrets. In the end he learns to trust her with his life and she learns to do the same. Sometimes the road to HEA, is a long and dangerous journey But it\’s always worth that in the end. A home run. I can\’t wait to read the extended epilogue and the accompanying series about Rysand (Who Goes from villain to Being a flawed fae who might Be able to become a hero In his own right)

I am not sure whether this review is my ARC copy or my purchase copy but either way it was a great book that I did have the chance to read for free. I was thrilled to get chosen for it because I own the rest of the series. Anyway, I knew it just had to be connected and yep the series needs to be read as a whole to see the forest.

Audiobook Touch (Touched by the Fae #3) by Jessica Lynch
Ok all 3 books should have been one. Too short which in turn you do not get the depth of what it could have been. Had a unique story concept but again lacked depth and better character development. Ok story, ok characters, ok romance, some action and magic.

This quick read kept me engaged until the last page. It was a great way to wrap up and end this storyline.

I’ve really enjoyed the overall premise of this story. There’s some really cool ideas and unique elements. I just wanted Riley to grow more as a character; especially with this being the finale book in this series, but that didn’t happen. She continues to show her immaturity and bratiness, so her attitude turned me off to any romance between Nine and Her. I also didn’t need to know she slept around and didn’t care about protection when she was 13-15 years old; that was just eww. I like Nine, but he doesn’t get to have much personality in this series. I was hoping there would be more connection between Riley and Him, but it never quite got there for me. Some sweet moments, but they don’t communicate well. Also, I wanted more from the reunion with her parents, and the ending didn’t wow me. Also, for the names having power scenario; it seems like an awful lot of people know each other’s Fae names. The story is entertaining, but didn’t reach that level of awesome I was hoping it would with this finale. I still want to check out more books by Jessica Lynch because there’s some interesting, fun ideas going on.
