Traitor: A History of American Betrayal from Benedict Arnold to Donald Trump

I usually love this authors work and jump on Amazon to purchase her next book when I hear its out, but Im beginning to think I need to just stop. The biker series she had was a complete turn off and made me sick just trying to read it and now Im feeling disinterested in the leopard series if this is the route shes going to continue with. Feehan needs to seriously go to one of the clubs she writes about and experience bondage in her personal life considering thats all she writes lately. Her writing lately consists of more sex than the actual storyline. If I wanted to read that much sex with kink I would just google porn. My personal taste for her work was for the strong female and male characters that had a vulnerable side to them, but took care of their mates. Her work is becoming darker and predictively repetitive. Again, thats my personal opinion and many may disagree. If youre not into bondage or the scenes with harnesses or masters/submissive, I would pass. I really hope her Ghost Walkers dont follow into this change of sexual interest shes been writing lately.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I hate submissive do what the man says when you barely know each other story lines. Too degrading too much sex and not enough story. This didn’t feel tasteful, just frustrating and disgust. I had to walk away a couple of times before giving up and not finishing. I like her leopard line but have enjoyed none of explorations of master\submissive. If you’re going to write this, characters need to be extra special and likeable. This was not it.

Okay Folks I thought I would never have to write a review of this sort. But No matter how much I love and like the author Christine Feehan someone has to to tell the truth.

Leopard’s Rage is a story of Sexual Depravity. Our lead Female Flambe Caver’s character is a Nymphomaniac. She picks up Strange men in bars for One Night Stands. She is a Strawberry Breed of Leopard which is raw and hunted by humans for there pelts. But even with the reasons of why she is sexual depraved isn’t good enough to override her being just a slut!! She doesn’t love Syvastian and tells him all the time that she is not his mate. But her leopard let his leopard claim her because she was being stalked and was afraid of the stalker. By the Way a Stalker she had sex with. Then realizes something is off with him. She was cold and indifferent through out the entire story to Syvastian and his Leopard Storm. There is not romance or even kindness from Flambe, she just wants Sex!!

Syvastian Amurov is a P wiped lead character. He just wants Flambe’ no matter how she refuses his suite. He does everything for her an her leopard. He certainly doesn’t act like a Alpha Male. I keep saying hey dude she doesn’t want you.

The other problem I had was the story is 95% of this depraved Shibari knot tying sexual scenes. Page after Page of Syvastian tying and contorting Flambe’s body into rope knots while her body is twist and turned in strange configurations. With all the names in the World to choose from all CF could come up with was A Cheesy Name Like Flambe’ Cheesy Name for a Cheesy Women. Please give me a Break!! I DONT WANT TO READ THIS KIND OF CRAP!!

I know I said that last time after the Torpedo Ink book. You know. The one with the ridiculous pet play. But since this is a separate series, I thought I would give it one more try. Nope. I dont know when Feehans formula became exclusively kink and BDSM but all Im asking is for some notice so I can decide for myself before buying her very expensive books. When I can I like to avoid skipping 30 pages (no exaggeration) at a time of the repetitive, outlandish, gratuitous.

Gave up on C.F. over a year ago. Have read every book in every series she’s written until a year ago? Ok let’s give her a try one more time because she used to be a really great author. No more creativity, it’s gone. Save yourself the 3 hours reading time and rent a Dom porn and watch it over and over again and you’ll get the same experience as reading her books.. Doesn’t matter which book in any of her series you read, it’s the same book but their names have been changed.
