If you’ve read parts one and two, imagine all the things you’ve wanted for Lenny and Nathan in their long physical, mental and emotional journey. Well, you’ll get them all in part three and more. I won’t give explicit spoilers as you really need to take your time to make the journey as JP Sayle has mapped it out. The construction of the story surprised me. The cliffhanger from part two ends quickly here and I wondered what the large section of the book remaining might contain and if it would be interesting all the rest of the way through. I should never have worried. The rest is a deep exploration of the healing process with some serious ups and downs. The characterizations had more bite here than before. Lenny is maturing and coming into his own as a man, a chef, a lover and a sub. Nathan became rather unlikeable for me for about the middle third as he seemed unable and even unwilling to trust Lenny as Lenny was trusting him. He felt selfish, controlling and immature. That set-up however, made his eventual realization that he would lose Lenny if he didn’t shape up all the sweeter and the way Lenny handled the process to help Nathan along was masterful. The Lenny of books one and two could never have done that. The Dom/sub scenes are explicit and hot but it is through them that we see our guys grow and change leading to an incredibly satisfying two part conclusion – one part sappily romantic and one part totally incendiary. Finally, a well earned happily ever after.

Excellent ending to the trilogy! I enjoyed Nathan and Lennys journey toward their well deserved HEA. There were many ups and downs, but throughout the three books there was a constant thread of hope.

Audio Mine, Body and Soul (The Playroom #3) narrated by Matt Haynes
Book Two ended on a cliffhanger and I was happy the resolution came fairly quickly although the damage was definitely done. Ive followed Nathan and Lenny through the ups and downs of their relationship, always holding out hope for them. Lennys medical issues have been mostly resolved, but now the men are facing the challenge of integrating BDSM into a fragile and tenuous relationship. Lenny has always wanted to submit to Nathan, but Nathan constantly frets about Lennys health. Throw in that Lenny has a new job that occupies much of his time and leaves him tired, and its a recipe for miscommunication which happens one night mid-scene. Instead of talking it out, Nathan reads the worst of the situation and begins to withdraw. Im glad they worked things out and the ending put a smile on my face. A great conclusion to a great series.
Matt Haynes did a good job of narrating the series, carrying the voices through very well and differentiating which was a challenge given how many men were in the book. The author hints there is more to come in Ferrons story and I cant wait to pick it up.

Finally, the conclusion of Nate and Lennys story. I loved how JP Sayle filled in a few blanks for me at the beginning, and yes, part two did leave off with a cliffhanger so if you were waiting for part three before you dive in, here it is. I loved how Lenny comes into himself so much more in this book. I also love how Nathan finds out that Lenny isnt the pushover that he may think he is. Hes so much stronger than he seems. Shibari is one of my favorite things to read about, and I dont get to read about it as much as Id like, so it was an added bonus for me that Lenny got to experience this with Nathan. I had a couple of laugh-out-loud moments. Carls mother, Lillian. She is a delight. I dont think Ill look at pink flamingos the same way again either. When the Doms are away, the boys will play. Then theres Ferron, I do so hope to get his story one day. He has quickly become a favorite of mine. I enjoyed this story so very much and I do highly recommend giving it a try.
