INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE audio
Anne Rice talks about the usual fictional stuff in her writings however the way she talks or conveys the message plays the role of a separator. Anne is not like other authors who will harp on the same line which legendary writers have followed in the past. In this novel, the vampire is not committing the crimes like in the usual fictional books rather he makes confessions. The vampire brings to light all the hideous crimes which he has performed over the years i.e the blood which he has sucked and the people he has murdered.

Someone else could have changed the story little bit but when the listener gets the imagination that he is listening directly through the mouth of a vampire he has no choice left but to believe. Simon Vance’s voice gives life to the character of the vampire along with other characters of secondary importance. The vampire is slowly losing control of his body and his human part is still dominating his mind against the disease which had invaded his mind.
Later this vampire provides us much shocking news like The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned but almost all of them have happened in the past. No new matter arouses at least up to the end of this book only the old things move in our minds as they get narrated by the vampire. The story is fictional but it looks original because of the calmness in the behavior of the vampire. He looks more human to us who has come to a psychiatrist for a checkup. Killing and sucking up blood is more of a habit for the vampire as compared to other basic needs.
