All was lost for the humans when their forces collapsed in front of a much stronger rival. At that spot in history when there was no silver lining for anyone or from any side, a band of pirates turned the tables. Merry Band of pirates started to fight like real heroes or legendary war figures against the alien invaders.

Craig Alanson portrayed the team as the one who has no fear in mind and the only objective which they commonly share is to protect the earth at any cost. Lives are not important for them anymore and they have stopped thinking about their families instead they think about the families which depend on them for their survival.

BRUSHFIRE

Enemies although came from all sides in space but each corner of space was well covered by the pirates. Heavy losses left both sides completely battered and then they planned for a truce. Both sides agreed that there would be no shooting from both sides but not all of them got the message. The band of pirates gets into trouble once again when they get hit when they are not prepared for it.

The situation is different as compared to Columbus Day and Critical Mass because the gang is caught unprepared but still their minds are prepared for anything. R.C. Bray keeps on garnishing the fictional novels of the time with his customized voice. The narrator possesses a voice which suits every situation and all type of characters whether they are villains or heroes get the well-deserved accent. Loaded with a thrill the book can be really engaging if you have the free time to concentrate on it fully.

    1 thought on “BRUSHFIRE”

    1. I can categorically state that book one , book 9 book 11 are all there completely with good audio, I have listen to all three of them twice within the last 2 months. The main character Skippy the beer can, and so far he’s the coolest sci-fi space audiobook character I have come across. Book 1 and book 11 are my favorite, but in book 11 the humans finally kind of start kicking ass. Also in my opinion, which means absolutely nothing, I think each book although in a series can stand alone on their own . The same person does the narration in all the books up to at least 11. And he’s good at his job. I think they’re actually was a book 12 that I had access to on YouTube but it was an AI voice, about 20 minutes into the book I just bailed despite the fact I wanted to find out what happened in book 12. If it’s a bad AI Voice or someone that is new to audiobook narrations I can’t listen to it. Now to the person that runs the channel, last week I left a comment about another book where I just said thanks and thumbs up and have a nice day I don’t know your rules on spoilers and well frankly although I can do algebra, geometry, physics and with absolutely no effort whatsoever as long as it’s multiple guess with very little effort and English is my only language and completed 12 years of school. I am barely literate. Hell I can’t even speak English properly. Dude I spent over an hour and a half composing a well-in-depth comment about book 11 and Columbus Day and number 9 Valkyrie. Idiot me drop the phone went to pick it up touch the screen and wherever my comment was it disappeared. I probably spent 20 minutes just putting in the right punctuation so this comment is not going to be even close to being coherent.. And the only reason why I left you a comment at all was because someone taught me how to type in my email address without copying it. I don’t know how many books I’ve listened to on this galaxy audiobook Channel, but every single one of them that I listen to were full and complete audiobooks with a good competent audiobook narrator. Whoever runs Channel and sent me a message yesterday saying it was kind of light content. I know how the comments work on YouTube and well frankly if you try to correct the narrator of the video, sometimes his minions go ape s*** on you. Don’t believe me look at the stuff Simon Whistler five YouTube channels that he has. And however stupid I am at English, idiot me drop the phone on the last comment picked it up by the screen and it disappeared and I have no idea where it went. I spent about an hour and a half composing that and putting it the proper punctuation to the best of my knowledge to make it readable. Took me 35 minutes just to do incoherent run on paragraph. I’m sorry I really did try to leave a comment, so maybe I should just go with thank you, thumbs up for the bunch of free audio books that I like that I have not had access to since 2019. Have a nice day.
