A great book for younglings as they begin their journey through the canon of knowledge which is the star wars.

It was very interesting to learn things about Obi wan and Anakin’s relationship. What is helping shape Anakin into who he will become.

Audio Star Wars: Jedi Quest: The Trail of the Jedi narrated by Marc Thompson

The second installment does what Watson is known for, which is to set the course for a bigger series. Once again a new villain is introduced and this time in a manner that feels part Hunger Games with most dangerous game. On Racone-6 the game amps up and comedy, survival, and creativity arise in various parts of the planet. There is good action, a darker tone, and some predictable twists that come with this book, but it is still a fun entry for the young reader. The set up for a potential big villain is set, and yes i want more action, but the character development is there to help drive the parts. Simple as it is check this one out for the classic star wars feel.

Jude Watson has done another brilliant book, depicted on Anakin Skywalkers training, for he is thirteen years old and the year is 28 BBY in this book and one of my favourite parts is where Obi-Wan-Kenobi goes to Illum so that Anakin can forge his own lightsaber, a bit that seemed haunting to me. Was Obi-Wan-Kenobi being haunted by his own master, Qui-Gon-Jinn smiling, the battling an invisible enemy and falling onto his knees, then it looped, as well as Anakin seeing past Jedi, his mother Shimi and forging his lightsaber to a certain killer that I won’t spoil to anyone, but forged within minutes, this book is more about the slavery business. On Nar Shaddaa after Obi-Wan-Kenobi loses his apprentice, for Anakin has a personal Vendetta for the Pirate Criminal called Krayn, who had killed and taken hundreds of slaves back on Tatooine, and Ex-Padawan Siri, shows up as a pirate than a Jedi (see the Obi-Wan-Kenobi books to know Siri) but getting involved with protecting the Colicoids. This just causes more trouble as Anakin is taken away and Obi-Wan-Kenobi has to go through contacts that he knows to help find both Anakin Skywalker and Krayn, but on Nar Shaddaa it just causes more pain for Anakin and the hatred that we know boils inside of him, since he’s thrown into the slavery below the city level above. As Star Wars fans know, Nar Shaddaa is a criminal Planet for bounty hunters, killers and Hutt Lords, side characters involves Yoda, Mace Windu, Adi Gallia and Chancellor Palpatine, this book was great and shows how much you can push one boy to go solo even when his Master goes to search and rescue him, it’s as if he doesn’t need Obi-Wan-Kenobi at times. As with Siri I can’t really ruin her character but she keeps a wide eye on Anakin and tries to kill Obi-Wan-Kenobi on first view, but the Colicoids have more to do with the situation as they seem to be like even, a good book, 5 stars from me and no cons, plus your see some new characters, so the next book will be The Way Of The Apprentice, Anakin Skywalker will be 14 years old, just to let other people know.
