The Once and Future Witches
There were no signs of witches in 1893. There used to be the dark days in the wild before the starting of the burnings. Witching now is nothing but the nursery rhymes and the tidy charms. If the modern lady looks for any level of power, she must discover it right at the ballot box.
The Eastwood sisters, Agnes Amarnath, James Juniper, and Beatrice Belladonna joined the New Salem suffragists. They started to pursue the forgotten words and all the different ways which might turn the movement of the women into the movement of the witch. Stalked by sickness and shadows, who would never go through the phase of having a witch to vote. They are probably not there to live even. The sisters would need to delve well into the magic of the older times and find a new alliance. That would eventually heal the bond that is there between them if they are looking to survive.
The story of this book is simplistic with a few breathless emotional awakenings. This is a young adult book which is quite fascinating.
