The Bride Test
Khai Diep is known for having no feelings. He used to get irritated when anyone moves his things around or when the balance of his ledger goes down to the penny. His family knows a lot of things much better, especially about his autism which means he just has got different emotions. When he avoids relationships at times persistently, his mother took things in her hand. She made a return to Vietnam so that she could find an ideal bride for her son.
Esme Tran was a mixed-race girl who was living somewhere in the slums. When she got the opportunity to move to America from Ho Chi Minh City and to meet her would-be husband, then she was in no position to deny that offer. Seducing Khai didn’t go as per the initial plans. She is hopelessly besotted with a person who is convinced that he could never be able to return her love.
This novel is mainly loved for its male character. The female lead was just horrible. The author spent a lot of time fixating the female character which was never worth it. This book has got the potential to be listened to and finished in one straight sitting.
