Infinite (Salvation #7)

This book was EVERYTHING…..ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!! I haven’t read a book this heart-wrenching, gripping and emotional in quite sometime. It had me to the point that I had to stop reading to compose myself and give my poor heart and eyes a rest. But this book was definitely worth every freaking TEAR, LAUGH and SMILE, it was such a raw and powerful read you don’t want to put it down! This is unequivocally Corinne’s BEST BOOK TO DATE and that’s saying so much since her books are thoroughly amazing! No doubt in my mind this is a TOP READ of 2019 and such a heartbreakingly beautiful story! Here’s your warning….. this book will have you GASPING, leave you BREATHLESS, leave you SPEECHLESS and leave you with the biggest BOOK HANGOVER EVER….. so HAPPY READING!

Infinite by Corinne Michaels is Book 2 of the Quinn & Ashton Indefinite Duet which is part of the Salvation Series. This book had so many emotions and feelings. Corinne Michaels pulls the reader in and you just feel all her words on the page as her characters are experiencing them. It is heart wrenching at times and you feel the characters journey in your soul.
This book dealt with some issues that can be sensitive for some involving infertility. It was written in a way that was emotional yet real for anyone that has dealt with it in their lives.
Quinn & Ashton have such a strong bond, but to see them struggle through tragedy just pulled at your heart strings. You just want them to find their happy ending. It was truly an emotionally filled book with happiness, sadness, angst, love and friendship.
I dont know if I can properly display all my emotions that I felt while reading it. It was that good!
This is a duet not to be missed!

I cant believe I feel this way about a Corinne Michael book, but I literally gave up on this book and quit reading it. The first book in this duet I found pretty boring, Quinn literally following Ashton around like a puppy dog through the ENTIRE book. I wasnt going to purchase the second because I wasnt interested at all, until the very end when Quinn gets kidnapped. I thought to myself, OK, they were just setting everything up for the next part. It was very interesting until he got rescued, which happened quickly, then it just got ridiculous. As I said before he LITERALLY followed her everywhere in the first book to win her back even though he didnt know she was pregnant, begging her to give them another chance. He had no idea about the baby, but gets out of the military to be with her and then after all that she tells him she is pregnant and he is thrilled. So on to the second book and now she is telling him goodbye because she lost the baby and he wouldnt possibly want to be with her now. WHAT!?! He wasnt with you to begin with because of the baby. So she proceeds to do all these stupid things and I just gave up. I could see it would be another book of him chasing her around and begging her to get back together with him and I couldnt take that again. Some will say, well she was grieving, thats why she was doing those things, she wasnt thinking clearly. Yes, that was definitely a factor. But it was way overdone to the point of rolling my eyes. And she is not even asking him about his time being held prisoner, it was all about her. I have been through fertility and lost two children and couldnt get pregnant. I know this grief personally and still felt she was not making sense in her reasoning. I have loved other books by this author, but these fell really short for me. I am still a fan though and will try other books. Corrine Michaels has a gift for writing and I am sure there will be other stories I do like. This couple just didnt interest me.

Okay….just finished Infinite and I am a wreck of emotions! FIRST OFF: you need to read Indefinite before you start this book! And if you have already finished that book, you know what happened and what everyone is chomping at the bit to find out!!

All I am going to say about all THAT is, this book is SO emotional!! Corinne is really becoming the queen of ripping out your heart, juggling it for a while as she’s laughing that evil laugh, before saying, “okay, I’m done playing with you” and crafts a story that has you crying and then smiling so hard you feel like your face will break.

There is some pretty heavy subject matter in this story, and the way that Ashton and Quinn deal with it is so emotionally charged, I’m pretty sure I held my breath for half this book! It was so heartwarming to see the whole Salvation gang rally around these two people. That’s what they do though, they are just one big family that circle the wagons when anything happens to one of them.

That epilogue! GAH I can’t even!!

I can’t believe this is the end of the line. I hope Corinne continues to give us glimpses into these character’s lives, whether through novellas or cameos in other series. This gang holds a special place in my heart!

Im a huge Salvation Series fan, but nothing prepared me for this book, and the emotions that were pulled from me. This is the absolute perfect ending to this series!
This book is so much more than just Quinn and Ashtons story. It shows the bond of Seal brotherhood and what true biffle friendship is.
This is duet is the best book(s) I have read this year.
