Supernatural Academy: Year Two (Supernatural Academy #2)

This book makes you feel a lot. I felt so many emotions during this book. Yet despite all the sad and hurt I end up feeling in this, because warning this book is sad, I cant help but reread it time and time again. You dont need to have read Supernatural prison series to enjoy this book. While there are references to it, I hadnt read it when I first went through this book. I enjoyed it all the same. Though I will admit after reading the prison series, I realize how many references there are.

I wanted to scream sometimes during this book. They needed to talk so many times. All of them did. That is what broke them all and cause so much pain.

I completely understand why this didnt happen, but I wish she cried in front of them. I wish she pretended to move on and Asher gets jealous. I think it wouldve been interesting if she tried to move on and go on a date with Damon. I think it also couldve been interesting if she went to Stratford. If they had her actual number and texted her during this. If they texted her. If they told her at least what they were doing and clued her in. Having them work as a team makes them so much stronger. Even if they wouldnt be close to each other. I think it would have been interesting if only Asher and Maddison werent speaking to each other and the boys were kind of like a go between. Or have seen what Asher went through and saw during the time they thought he was dead. Or the time he was trying to ignore Maddison. Or read what would happen if Maddison died before Asher. I think that would be very interesting as well. Have the story from Ashers perspective. Or what Maddie would do if she knew Asher thought her dead and she was with her god parents. Again, it suits the story way better the way it happened. I completely understand why these didnt happen. That doesnt make me wish any less that I could have seen some of these things happen. Fanfics of alternate realities maybe?

All in all though, this was an amazing book and I already ordered the next book. I can hardly wait.

Wow another amazing book in the Supernatural Academy series by author Jaymin Eve. This book is full of roller coaster feelings. You wont be able to put it down and so much happens that will have your biting your nails and almost throwing your kindle. Maddi, the main character, continues to build her character and show so much strength with all the trials she goes through. Jaymin Eve does a wonderful job character building with all the supporting characters. As a reader you cheer for them as well. The storyline is humorous, gut wrenching, and heartwarming all throughout. Definitely a great read. Im really looking forward to the year of aquamarine.

This is book two in the series. You will need to read book 1 before this one. It will be well worth your time. If you haven’t read book 1 then I would try to avoid most reviews because it is difficult to not give away spoilers. That said, I will do my best. The year of purple hair didn’t turn out to be quite what our heroine, Maddison James, had hoped for. Maddi finds herself in a dark place as she learns more and more about the rising Atlantis and the gods. The story has a lot of ups and downs and I admit to a few tears. I am curious to see how the story finishes and cannot wait to read the next installment!

The beginning of the second book is a little slow. But just for a minute. Once I got past that I literally couldnt put the book down. In this book, more of the Compass family including Louis plays a bigger part than in the first book. I have read most of the compass books so for the most part I am following along with their stories. But I have not read all of them which makes it a little sad to know that Louis has a mate and I never read his book.

Altogether I really loved this story and I am exited to read the final conclusion!

Year of purple. I was super excited! Book starts off fast, my brain said “And we’re off!!” Then out of nowhere…..you know that meme that says when I open this book again I better not have read read what I think I did. Yeah. I was pissed! I stayed pissed. Then it was like “Oh, ok. I don’t have throat punch somebody after all!” Then I just shaking my head. Then I wanted to punch someone again. Then it was ok and we’re partying and waiting to see what aquamarine brings. I’m exhausted and need my teddy bear now. Oh and probably a glass of fae wine too. Great book written by a great author.
