I’m still enjoying this series. I think the plot is now established. That doesn’t lessen the interest. In fact it kind of makes you want to keep reading to find out what’s going to happen. It sets the stage for much drama to come and great adventure. Mr. Kloss has created a magical world with much interest for we people in our normal world. But, what lies below the surface and what adventure awaits the reader has been done very well. It may remind you of a fantasy or two- don’t let that dissuade you from reading it. I think it stands alone on its own merit as possibly one of the great fantasy stories of this era.

I have a bad habit of buying the first book in a series and then never getting the rest. NOT SO with the Royal Institute of Magic! I found the story solid and i wanted to know what came next for Ben and his friends. I was happy to purchas book 2 and I am still entertained enough that I am looking forward to book 3!
I read the reviews that compared the first book to the Harry Potter and I did find a few things to be the same: two guys and a girl, magic school and few otherssimularities but to be honest this story really has its own direction. I like R.I.o.M. for what it is and I am enjoying the read. It’s like finding a new magic world to explore. 🙂

The story continues as Ben and Charlie along with Natalie find themselves in the middle of confusion. The path that they are following has many twists and turns. They find allies were they least expect them and enemies surrounding them.

:I wondered if I would enjoy this book.as well.or better than than the Victor Kloss Book 1. Well I must.say, I enjoyed it even more! I am really looking forward to the rest of of the Victor Kloss series.The young people do seem to be maturing quickly.Their friendship is growing stronger and they learn more and more from each other as well as from their teachers! I also look.forward to seeing Ben.and his parents seeing each other again,hopefully.

This story is fun. Keeps you interested. There is such a variety of characters, you love some, you hate some.
