A Hero of Realms

I am truly a Bella Forrest fan. I love the “A Shade of Vampire” novels and really feel the idea behind them is brilliant. The way the move from one couple to another is really unique. I gave this novel four stars because I am actually giving the series that score (so far as I’ve read). The reason I did this is not because I didn’t like them, but because I didn’t like the style of writing. I felt Forrest did too much telling rather than showing. I never could get a good picture in my head. Good authors should have scenes going in your mind at all times, shouldn’t they? I don’t get that with her books.

Probably the best book in the series for me. the final chapter had me fully gripped and wondering what was going to happen. I sure didn’t see it coming. I can’t wait to find out what happens and I surely hope a few vamps get what’s coming to them.

I fine myself repeatedly writing it’s a worthy read and now I have my family hooked to the series. Wonderment never cease to amaze me when a family member enjoys the supernatural realm. The novels leave the readers with cliffhanger ending. Causing the reader to prevail and move forward with another and another. So invest in the lengthy time and indulge in a glass of wine while you while embrace ” The Shade of Vampire”

Yet another great book in the Shade series! This book follows Ben on his path to rid himself of the infestation. What a well written story with a great storyline! Already waiting anxiously for the next in the series!

This series just keeps getting better. This book left us hanging about Ben. I am sure we will find out what happens in the next book. Way to go, can’t wait for the next book.
