A Sweetheart for Jude Fortune

This was a sweet, romantic and most delightful read. Talk about love at first sight. Jude, a confirmed batchelor then met Gabi. After their first encounter he was telling everyone in his family he met the woman who was going to be his bride. Of course, they look at him with a jawndiced eye. Gabi who had to deal with an exceedingly over-bearing father tread lightly with her relationship with Jude. As time progressed, one evening they mutually decided to make love. But, Gabi insisted on – no lights. She didn’t want Jude to see the scar from her heart transplant. While he was caressing her, he felt the bump of her incision; but, being the gentlmen Jude was, he didn’t question it – at that time anyway. To help her feel comfortable in his arms, he confessed he too had a scar that was rather unsightly as well. His was the aftermath of an appendectomy. Gabi then told Jude she had “heart suregery.” Technically she wasn’t lying, but heart surgery and a heart transplant are as different than a breeze is from a hurricane.

Cindy Kirk did a wonderful job in describing the electricity between Jude and Gabi. I don’t want to elaborate because I don’t want to spoil it for you. All I can say is those of you who may have experienced a life changing surgery, don’t be afraid to admit it to those you love; believe me, they’ll understand.

Needless to say, I highly recommend your reading, “A Sweetheart for Jude Fortune.” I just love the entire Fortune Family reads; they are so uplifting.

From the moment Jude saw Gabi he knew she was the, she would be his wife. The problem is Gabi’s scared. She never plans to get married to anyone and in her mind there are good reasons for not to marry. You really need to read and find what her reasons. Reading how much Jude loves her and nothing matters but his love for her making her his for life, is truly a joy.

This book was inspiring to read and to believe in love and happiness for every romantic couple. It had all the ups and downs that a couple who are in love has to face in life today. I enjoyed reading this book very much. Thank You!
