Raahosh is absolutely irresistible, no matter how many times I’ve read this series. Liz, however, makes you wish his khui had chosen differently…until you think about what life on Not-Hoth is actually like. How damaged he is (not just physically scarred) requires someone fierce to live him and their kits in this inhospitable, lonely world.
If Liz was softer, gentler, more typically what’s considered “ladylike”, Raahosh would have been a corpse–either after his injury, OR once the rest of the tribe caught up with him.
Maybe Liz is rough around the edges, but so is Raahosh–and they both have the ability to fiercely and completely love each other once their walls come down. He may have abducted her due to resonance, but she shocked him time and again by loving him in ways he had never experienced, ever–and resonance or not, he came to love her with every cell of his body.

Barbarian Alien audiobook Series Ice Planet Barbarians
This particular couple is hilarious. The trials and tribulations of miscommunication, misunderstandings, cultural differences take you on a roller coaster of double speak and romance. These two stubborn rule breakers will show this icy planet what fire is.

Audiobook Barbarian Alien by Ruby Dixon
I loved Rahoosh and Liz’s antics they are so much alike and yet so stubbornly different this story had me upset towards the end but I knew Liz could handle their ass’s. Read it sooo very good!

Barbarian Alien Bond narrated by Hollie Jackson
I really liked the main characters in this book. I was so mad on behalf of Liz. I was also really anxious there for awhile.
I thought that the tribe was ridiculous in banishing Raahosh since it sounds like the women can only get pregnant by their mates and there were only four women prior to the humans. That is not to say I didn’t like that part of the book; it just gave me feelings.
Raahosh is so loving and caring. I cherished the time they spent alone and was angry that the tribe made them go back. Gah! I just really liked this book.

Liz is one of the more injured girls from the crash landing, but she is stubborn and headstrong, and refuses to let anyone help her. But Raahosh has been fawning all over her since the big blue aliens arrived, and Liz realises that’s because he has decided he wants her to be his mate. Why does she have to get the scariest-looking grumpy one though? And once she sees what the 𝙠𝙝𝙪𝙞 are, how they enter the body, she doesn’t care if it’ll save her life. She wants no part of it.
Ah man I felt so much for Raahosh! He’s always felt rejected, like an outsider in his tribe. He only has one true friend and has never had a lover, which he can only assume is because he is ugly from his scars. So when Liz rejects him over and over, even though their 𝙠𝙝𝙪𝙞 have resonated for each other, he is hurt. I just wanted to cuddle him!!! The giant, terrifying, alien.
The two of them were ultimately quite cute together. Liz jabbered nonstop, even when she though he couldn’t understand english. And Raahosh is your typical silent, grumpy male. But he had so much respect for her in his own way, never wanting to push her too far.
Then, of course, there’s all the sex. All.the.sex. And the awkward, slightly cringeworthy terms the aliens use, which was actually quite funny – I believe intentionally so.
