Blue Venom (Blue Wolf series #4)

I read the first two books in the series as they came out. But then I took a hard left turn into another genre and stopped reading urban fantasy altogether. When I saw that the Blue Wolf series was completed, it renewed my interest and I started in on book 3. It was fantastic as was this book, Blue Venom. It was so fun to read. The characters are all engaging and the action is explosive. I’m going to keep reading the series, without pause, until I get to the end. It’s just too good to stop.

Magnarella continues to promise and fulfill. His ability to grasp his reader and draw/drag you along is phenomenal. Sometimes I was kicking and screaming, but I love every minute. Who would have thought he could make you sympathetic to a venomous reptilian, but Brad can make you eager because you can always trust the Blue Wolf. What’s creeper than snakes, much less a civilization of them. Magnarella continues developing Our Blue Wolfe team with depth, sympathy while maintaining the penultimate hard-### heros. Great work.

Brad Magnarella is quite the creative storyteller as he unleashes another exciting Blue Wolf novel. Blue Venom introduces us to two-legged serpent-like creatures who have kidnapped an entire village to do their bidding in worshiping an evil goddess. The Blue Wolf and his team are in trouble taking on an assignment where death was the outcome for a team in a previous rescue attempt. This is truly a page turner for the nail biter who is brave enough to see this story through to the end.

It is worth five stars cause you could stop reading it for weeks at a time and still know the storyline. I loved this book and its story but I want to see more of the raw wolf come out when the weapons aren’t enough. It is still great reading for anyone who enjoys military rescue missions with magic and fantasy.

Just like the Prof Croft books, Magnarella does a good job storytelling once again. This story definitely seems to be better than the others, building on the previous books. If you haven’t checked out this book or series, and enjoy Prof Croft, you will like these books as well. Here’s to hoping another Blue Venom or Prof Croft book is in the works!
