Dark Seduction (Masters of Time #1)

I have read all of the masters of time series and will probably read them again. I love the way Brenda Joyce writes . She doesn’t fill her books with filler words to make them longer. She gets right down to business. I fell in love with Malcolm and Claire. There was never a boring page. The best time travel book I have ever read. When I read other Time Travel books they fall way short and I’m unimpressed. WOW!

I have read this series multiple times and keep hoping for more. These books bring you into another world. Captivating.

I have no idea what those other individual’s were talking about. I liked this book. Of course this is my first Brenda Joyce novel so I had no prior expectations. The pleasure by dying was a bit much and I do agree with the fact that Claire is an annoying character. But I loved the time travel and I am obsessed with the medievil Highlanders so I really enjoyed this book. I liked it well enough to go on to read the rest of the series.

This was my first introduction to a Brenda Joyce novel and for ms. Joyce this was her first published book into paranormal romance. I thought it was a great first book into the genre. I loved the world she brought us into. if you love time travel, historicals and the highlands, not to mention the warriors, good vs evil as well as the characters she introduced us to Claire a New York City book seller and an almost 500 year old Malcolm of Dunrock – with powers, then this book is for you!All the paranomal romance lover’s out there should give it a try. In my opinion some of the reviews of this book may have been poor because the fans of Brenda Joyce loved the way she had written her historicals ,and, might not be fans of the paranormal, but, because they are fans they gave it a try. The genre isn’t for everyone. Well, done Ms. Joyce.

I’ve never read this author before, but was given books 2 and 3 in this series. I decided to get the first one before reading the other others. I’m giving it 2 stars, but only because it may get better. Only half way through now. I’m glad it was only $2.
