Dawn of Empire (The Messenger #5)

Another great addition to The Messenger series. I like how the wait is only like a month or maybe two in between each new installment. It is a believable universe with uniquely tweaked characters. The plot is separated into steps or sections that are all satisfactorily closed out. Along with each step coinciding with the following step to carry the reader to the overall goal without leading a book lonnggg build-up. Which in most readers leaves their patience far behind their curiosity. It makes me skip every other paragraph, and even some chapters. All to escape the prolonged drudgery of a never ending story. Also, there is no overtly long, smoochy, love scenes. There\’s (so far) no transgender she/he, hermaphroditic characters with mental issues. I seem to find a lot of that crap in futuristic, sci-fi material. It disgusts me. Men are men and women are women, and they both can achieve anything either puts their mind too. You don\’t have to write a gender identity crisis into a book about the far flung future to make it intersting, politically correct, or progressive. Jus sayin

Dash and crew which has grown immensely and is quite diversified in their backgrounds is now taking the battle to the Verity an Alien species whose only quest, desire is the total elimination of mankind or any other similar species. They are relentless and are barbaric in their actions toward anyone who they seem an enemy. Non stop action. Another excellent read in this series. My highest recommendation!!

Okay now that was very interesting and action packed. But, the Messenger needs a bigger army, more unseen tech ships and crews. This war can not be fought long on just enough recources. Expansion, planning, training and then aggressive execution of those tenets get you the prize. Thanks for a GoodRead.

Why the Unseen designed the upgrades to the Archetype to follow the path of a serial scavenger hunt ! It\’s the perfect excuse to string a long sequence of remarkable events into a near-endless plot line. ?? Hasn\’t diluted the entertainment quotient yet, though.

More fantastic adventures for the Messenger as he and his team being forces together and pursue the Golden in this galactic adventure. A very good read and an excellent series!
