Flynn is a sad fellow, still suffering from his wife\’s death turning to the bottle to help him through the day. He brushes aside his demons to hunt down his wife\’s killer along the way solving other crimes. Spangler has written an excellent thriller worthy of five stars.

Do not miss the latest thriller by Brian Spangler. I believe this is his best work to date. He tells a story that is quite intricate and yet is also able to create characters of such detail that the story is intimate as well. Jericho is a flawed, deeply human character. The novel is a long read (my favorite kind!) but never flags as Spangler takes us on a journey of twists and turns, always moving the story forward. Spangler wraps up the various story lines and even provides a hint for a sequel, hooray! Enjoy the read!!

Former Sheriff Jericho Quinn is still struggling to recover from the crippling loss of his wife when his son is taken into custody for the grisly murder of his girlfriend. The pressure mounts and the case intensifies, as Jericho struggles to unravel the mystery before his son is tried for a crime he did not commit. I love flawed heroes, and Jericho Quinn fits the bill nicely. Well-written, this action-packed thriller keeps you turning pages until you reach the final shocking twist. If you love thrillers, this book is for you.
