Deadly Touch (Krewe of Hunters #31)

I have read a lot of the Krewe of Hunters books and as the series goes on the editing seems to be going downhill. For one thing, someone please tell Ms. Graham that very few people hang their heads to hide a smile or tears or whatever. This is a recurring action in her books and it is starting to get a bit old. People do not murmur during the course of a conversation. A murmur is more like speaking to yourself or under your breath. Also, a couple of times Ms. Graham used the same phrasing three times in the space of about two pages. \”Tiger said lightly.\” was one of them and another character whose name I don\’t remember \”sobbed softly.\” Finally there were several words that were just flat out wrong. \”we\’ll get there for nine.\” Maybe she meant \”before nine.\” With the number of books she has published I would think she has an editor or at least someone who is reading her books for errors. If not she needs to find someone. All of this makes reading this book a bit painful and I\’m not sure I will be reading another one.

Raina tried on a dress for a special occasion and her world changed forever. She saw a woman who was brutally murdered. This vision brought her and an old acquaintance together. Axel, a special unit FBI investigator, was in town to investigate a serial killer on the loose. As most of the Krew books go, there are many suspects, a new love born and a killer caught. Reading time well spent, in my opinion!

Raina Hamish has a vision of a murdered body left in Florida\’s Everglades after trying on a dress in a Miami shop. Special Agent Axel Tiger is from the area and is back to help catch the killer or killers. Raina\’s vision may provide some clues and is the most they have for now. As Axel and Raina work together to nurture Raina\’s abilities, they\’re also double checking everything they have. But can they catch a killer before someone else is killed? I love this series and this book is a prime example of why. While the series is long, the author keeps it fresh and each book is as good as the first. It was well-written with wonderful characters. Full of action and intrigue, I was caught from the beginning and kept hooked until the end. The story is full of twists and turns, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I\’m very eager for the next book. I highly recommend both book and series which I suggest you read in order. If you\’re new to the series, you should at least read the books in each \”trilogy\” (and a couple \”quartets\”) as they come out. This book is the second in its \”trilogy\”.

Speiacial agent Axel Tiger was called back home to investigate a series of murders that has been going on over thirteen years. The first they aware of came or happened during one of the camping organization for high school kids. Among which he was one of the instructors and guide for this camping held in Florida in the land of the native people. The tribe of the Seminole and the Miccosukee the children were thought their history and for them learn the land they come from. Among this kids are Raina Hamish, Mya, EllyTalor, Tate Fielding, and Jordan Rivera. Now they have all grown up and professional of different fields. Again like in the past another killing began an this time Raina was trying a dress which the recent victim also have tried when she look into the mirror and saw the mruder of Jennifer Lowry. She went to the police and told them where to find her body. Intend she quickly became a suspsen for the killings. But before she knows it she was drawn into the investigation. They were able to uncover a lot of the past death victims one by one, so is the invesigation. She became part of the discovering and they were able to exposed they killers and all that killings of those who also were part of the family members that did put their loved ones in danger.

I just can\’t say enough what a totally FANTASTIC series this is! There aren\’t enough stars to give it. A million plus!!!! All the books in this series grab your attention and you just can\’t put them down. The story line was extremely riveting and the characters were enjoyable. This series has it all. Drama, some humor, some romance, lots of ghosts, and is so well written it keeps your nose buried in the book. By far my most favorite ghostly mystery series ever and I\’ve been reading The Krewe of Hunters since book #1. Can\’t wait for the next one!!!!!
