Death’s Mantle 3 (Death’s Mantle #3)

It’s another great installment for Lucian. He continues the quest to increase in strength so he can destroy the parasite of addiction that is plaguing his brother before it’s too late. There is a good bit of action and drama, with enough of a bit of comedy to keep it from being too heavy. I really enjoy the innovative creations that he brings to the world of “deaths” each novel.

This series resonated with me. I have family who suffer with addiction. Depression. Anger. . . Could the things that torment us be some kind of demonic entity? Dose Devine intervention come in the form of a person passed on fighting to save other’s? Who knows but what a brilliant way to look at this ugly truth.

I love the character growth and that his main focus is achieved. A the hero gets the girl for his predecessor. A wonderful ending that leaves enough to continue on if the authors so desire. The whole series (and other Cooper book series) are must read. You will not be disappointed.

Really enjoyed this trilogy, was hard understanding power differences since not everyone measures their abilities the same way , some sad losses but better victories kept me interested to the end, highly recommended!

You’d think that a character with powers based off of pulling things right out of his butt would get old, but this guy has grown better with each installment. This book is great.
