Declan (Undercover Billionaire #4)

## This is my 3rd try with Ms. Anne\’s books and suffice it to say, my last. I had bad luck with the last two that I had read by her, but decided to give it one more go because of the great reviews. I got to 50% and couldn\’t take it anymore. Were we even reading the same book? The writing was so juvenile and cheesy. I never understood what it meant when I\’d see someone write \”it was like it was written by a high schooler\”. Well I do now. That\’s exactly what I was thinking of this writing style. Also, THIS DOESN\’T STAND ALONE! That should be noted in the description. Apparently these two have had interactions in the last several books. I felt like I came in mid-story. DNF. Can\’t recommend.

Loved the fourth book in Melody Anne\’s Undercover Billionaire Series which has Declan Forbes, last of the four brothers to find his soul mate Angela. Declan can best be described as handsome, the loner in the family as well as the black sheep in that he is more closed off than his brothers, works for the FBI. Declan is currently working on taking down the cartel in their small town but has always had an interest in Angela who works for his brother Arden and she is the unmarried mother to her young eight year old son Timothy. There is a lot of drama and some very intense moments in conjunction with the cartel group who has a bad interest in Angela due unfortunately to her family past. Declan and Angela are incredibly explosive together and the bonding between Declan and his brothers to Timothy as well as Angela is heart warming. Joseph Anderson and his cronies are at the bottom of this love match as usual and are considering their next target and I cannot wait to read all about it.

Declan Forbes is totally swoonable from the author\’s description and that he follows our heroine Angela and her son to protect them, is off the charts the best sort of man. Melody has managed to write the last book in the Undercover Billionaire series and it is worth far more than the 5 stars allowed. Not only is complete with the Forbes and Anderson families, I got to catch up with those who had their own books, but laughed at the antics of the matriarchs of the families. Joseph Anderson and Lucian Forbes continue their matchmaking schemes. I wasn’t expecting some surprises and twists along the way and couldn\’t put the book down until I read it all. Congratulations and thank you Melody Anne for writing another great book and a perfect ending to the series.

Always sad when a really good set of stories comes to an end. Although, we are lucky that with Melody Anne, you never know when one of them might show up in a different series. Declan turned out to be more swoon worthy of a hero than I expected. He was great with Angela and Timothy.

I loved this book. Angela was in the wrong place and saw a drug deal going down. She’s scared,and leaves town with her son. Love how Declan now realizes he’s fallen for her and will do anything to keep her safe. Loved feeling their emotions, even had some tears. Loved their happy ever after. Of course, we get some scenes with Joseph Anderson, loved all the characters of this series. I highly recommend this book.
