Packs of Raptors, a Spinosaurus. And unhelpful humans put paid to that idea. The trio find themselves trapped by the Military no are pinpointed questions about their obvious ” borrowed” bikes and guns. Taken back to the base set up at a power station, they are forced to.make a devils bargan with the base commander. It seems that the power station technicians were attending a conference a couple towns away when things went pear shaped ,and the Brigadier needs them back. He’s sent a two man unit to fetch them back but the town in question seems to be something of a black hole, and headquarters has forbidden him from sending any more troops to find out what’s going on. Has the town become one big Dino chow feast, or something else? Read on for a great story!

Dinosaur World 3 audiobook in series Dinosaur World

Science fiction harem adult situations
This is book 3 and there’s plenty of action. Some portals are regular while others appear to be random. That said, the army continues to act like things are normal – civilians shouldn’t have guns while millions are dead. Roads are becoming impassable due to dinosaur attacks or wreckage. Stocks are beginning to run out, and both food and ammunition are starting to become critical.

One part that was out of character was the villains took their swords, and while they killed most of those with guns during the escape, Jason and his two women did not go back to retrieve them. Guns run out of ammo, yet they left the swords behind. Instead, there was a sex scene. After they delivered the engineers, they did not go back. The general, too, seems unconcerned about the return of his two missing soldiers, or of punishing any of the humans who kept them prisoner. Losses to dinosaurs, expected, but not punishing those who treat the Queen’s army like poor constables? Even the recovery of the battered jeep should be considered a worthwhile expedition because even if it’s just for spare parts, it would be worth it.

And later, when they find the crashed mini-bus, Jason thinks he should the general about its whereabouts, but when they discussed getting the motorcycles back, they don’t say anything. No follow-through by MC. The basic rule of writing, if you introduce something or someone as important, follow up on it or don’t introduce it all. In the meantime, the government response is underwhelming. Why isn’t martial law in place? The first two books were quite strong in attention to detail, but that’s not as true here. MC Jason, too, seems to have gained an ability to have sex multiple times a night, which pushes this over to a VR or magical fantasy trope. The two college women who fight by his side? I can see them both falling for him, and understanding that the social situation has drastically changed. Sharing, too, is both pragmatic and a natural reaction to facing and surviving danger together. Jason’s new special sex ability? Why? “Reasons” isn’t an answer. Will this be explained in a future volume? Why aren’t the two women asking pertinent questions about this? Instead, both uni-trained women seem to have become focused on getting pregnant. Hmm.

The action is good as are the adult scenes, but continuity errors will kill a story. Recommended, but with caution.

Dinosaur World 3 audiobook by Logan Jacobs

If dangerous dinosaurs, badass women and a motorcycle ride through the end of the world are your thing, you’ll love this series.
And the latest book doesn’t disappoint, action, adventure and dealing with survivors, both good and bad.
But the characters are getting better at their job, and they just might have a future as Dino Hunters.

Really looking forward to the direction the series is taking, and the next one to come out!

Dinosaur World 3 audio narrated by Alex Perone Marissa Parness

DW is a much different spin on this genre as it happens in our world and in our present time. The MC doesn’t go to a different dimension, no one was abducted by aliens, no satanic stuff (which has been WAY overdone), and cyber space has nothing to do with this storyline – what a great change! Besides, who doesn’t like stories with dinosaurs and beautiful women? I love the UK ban on firearms coming back to bite them! Every time a character is being munched on I think to myself, “I bet you wish you had a weapon now!” Who knew all the NRA needed was an invasion of prehistoric monsters to make their point? Kidding aside, it is great that the characters can’t just shoot their way out of every situation.

I’m holding out on the that 5th star only because the MC really needs some tweaking. He’s a little bit of a control freak, but he’s young, so I’m hoping he will learn to depend on his team more to achieve better results faster. This is a favorite series! I can’t wait for the next!
