Oh Nora Roberts , I thought when I read Shelter in Place that you couldn’t do better how wrong was I! Your have surpassed all my expectations and I can’t wait for your next offering if you will pardon my pun. I am in awe of your talent and forever a fan. You left me fight with myself to ration my time before I ended up divorced! Only joking but it was so addictive and so exciting. Great plot great characters and great read! Would recommend it highly. Definitely 5star.

Audiobook Divine Evil by Nora Roberts
Excellent job of entangling the town and the countryside in devil worship. This book was hard to read and to believe that things like this does happen. But even they made the mistake of believing they could have everything they wanted and to do so by actually sacrificing human beings. No! Not sacrificing : MURDERING.

This book was amazing. I didn’t want it to end. I couldn’t put the book down once I started reading. It had a surprising twist at the end. Nora Roberts books are my favorite she never disappoints.
Nora Roberts writes in many genres from enjoyable romances, through some with a fantasy edge and others which are pure crime thrillers to what I see as romance thrillers. This book falls in the last category. Like many of her books it is somewhat dark but if you know the author you can expect this and the synopsis generally warns you. There are many recurrent themes in her books , as might be expected with so many books to her credit, and that is certainly true here. But still an interesting read. Initially I felt it was a bit too long and would have benefited from editing, but having re-read it perhaps that is unfair. I will continue to buy as I like her writing style.

I always enjoy Nora Roberts storytelling. This was a little darker than usual, being about satanism and sacrifice. The ending was too abrupt for me, I was looking for an epilogue to tie up the loose ends. I liked Cam and Clare but I wanted to know what happened to them as a couple. I also felt the “baddie” should’ve been exposed. But it was a satisfying read, as ever.
The past comes back to haunt Claire and what a way it does. Nora Roberts has a great knack for story telling and this one not just a romance themed one but more of a darker side altogether. Occultism, murder and so much more. The twist towards the ending too, never saw that one think that why it’s always refreshing to read one of Nora Roberts books as you get something extra just when least expected.
