Dragon Fever audiobook free

I continue to be impressed that this author can make each of the books in this series unique in some way. And it doesn’t seem to matter that this is a novella, it had it’s own flare and I just continue to devour them.

For the first time, we have a women trying to find out the dirt on the Kings. She’s trying to trick Asher. Good luck with that. But it creates a new dimension to their story. When will he find out? How far is she willing to go to get her story? And can Asher ever forgive her if she tells the world? It was a gem among a series I’m loving and devouring.

The dynamics between these two are fun. She’s on the offensive and she’s strong. He’s trying to survive something he doesn’t want to do. They’re both brilliant but no one can deny the heat between them. So the last thing to figure out will be if she tells before or after she falls for him? Or is there more truth she needs to learn about these Kings?

Dragon Fever audiobook in series Dark Kings

Even though this novella falls in the midst of the Dark Kings series, and I haven’t read even one, the author wrote just enough background and history on the characters that I was able to grasp the conflict and quickly immerse myself in the storyline. Rachel is an undercover journalist, and after a video of the Dragons of Draegon goes viral, she is determined to have the scoop of the century. What she didn’t count on was being dropped into the middle of an ancient feud.
Asher and Rachel had immediate chemistry, and Rachel quickly becomes more interested in the man than she was in the story. This seemed a stretch, as she was a pretty famous investigative journalist, but until I meet my own dragon and see what all the excitement is about, I can’t pass judgement.

Draegon, as it turns out, isn’t just the place where all the dragons live, it is also the name of the whiskey they sell and have made their fortune with. The descriptions for this whiskey was so yummy, that it made me want to drink a dram in front of the fire with my own hot man. Then I remembered that I don’t really like whiskey, and the temp is around ’95. I’ll just content myself with sitting around with my own hot guy, and crack open the first book in this series and see where it all started.

Audiobook Dragon Fever by Donna Grant

I am a big fan of Donna Grant’s Dragon Kings series so am always excited to get another glimpse into the series and I love these 1,001 Dark Nights novellas because they keep me in the Dragon King world in between full length novels.

Dragon Fever is the story of Dragon King Asher and intrepid reporter Rachel Marek. The Dragon Kings are still in turmoil over the video fallout. They are anxious in their inability to shift due to constant public scrutiny. They are on the defensive, fighting the videos, the rumor, the conspiracies with very carefully told truths and public appearances. Asher, has been tasked to step into Con’s role at the WWC (World Whiskey Consortium) and he’s dreading every minute of it. Suave and handsome Asher is the perfect face and personality to stand in for Con but it is the last place he wants to be. As if being sent to Paris to smile and charm business associates and the public wasn’t bad enough he is also thrust into the hands of Con’s longtime and dedicated….Task Master. He is resigned to his ‘place’ over the next few days, until he comes across a beautiful woman who peaks his interest as no one has ever done before.

Audio Dragon Fever narrated by Antony Ferguson

I love the 1001nights books but this author is one of my favourites.
This is about the dragon kings and is set in Paris. Asher is in Paris as dreagan whisky representative and Rachel is there to uncover the dragons. Hot sexy scenes, trouble from Ulrick and the dark fae. All in all a great read . I loved it

Another great Dragon King story.
It starts with Con sending Asher to the world whiskey conference representing Dreagan in Paris. Although he’d rather be by himself he does his duty anyway.
Rae is also there in a couple of her disguises to break the news on the dragons. While trying to uncover their secrets, Asher & Rae hit it off from the start, with their attraction to each other growing that their passion explodes across the pages, hot!
There is a new character Ms Engell who im really keen to see how she fits into the dragon king saga. And our Ulrik has a suprise in store that kept the story rolling along with his wicked ways. I look forward to the next one.

You can never go wrong when reading Donna Grant. And you can never go wrong when reading about the Dragon Kings. While this was a novella, and doesn’t have as much detail as the regular books, it was still great and provided some very interesting insights into the Dragon Kings and Ulrik.
