Dust World is a suspenseful mystery thriller. It is written by B. V. Larson. The book is the second chapter of the Undying Mercenaries novel series. B. V. Larson is a top writer especially of science fiction fantasies, but the writer has also written mystery thrillers with suspense. One of his good novels in the science fiction genre is Edge World. Apart from this, Glass World is another good science fiction novel by the author.
The narration of this novel is done by Mark Boyett. He is a very capable narrator and the performance in this novel was just like people love to have in a top-quality audiobook.
Dust World
The Galactics arrived in with their Battle fleet and it is the year 2052. Earth was able to become part of a huge Empire rather than becoming exterminated. The new Empire spans the whole Milky Way. The only worthwhile goods for trading are the infamous types of mercenary legions along with the elite troops that were sold away to the highest bidder from the alien race.
It was the year 2122, a lost colony expedition contacts the planet Earth. Colonization is completely against the Galactic Law which surprises our government as well. The Legion Varus is dispatched for the sake of handling the situation. The planet Earth provided them with the sealed orders to be executed. But, the planet Earth is believed to be 25 light-years away. This was a very daunting task and things weren’t easy at all.
The book received excellent reviews for all the good reasons. It had a very good story, great suspense, and top quality characters. The narration by Mark Boyett was flawless.
