The story Harry Potter is about a boy who learns on his 11th birthday that he was an orphan of two powerful wizards. Being raised by his relatives, he was treated unfairly until the day that he was summoned to Hogwarts. Hogwarts is a fictional British wizarding school where students are sorted into four houses to learn magic. There, he met several friends, like Ron Weasley (pure-blooded wizard with a red hair) and Hermione Granger (a muggle), who became his closest allies and helped him discover the truth about his parents’ mysterious deaths.
Though Harry’s first year at Hogwarts is the best of his life, not everything was perfect. When Harry found out that there is a dangerous secret object hidden within the castle walls, he then believed that it’s his responsibility to prevent it from falling into evil hands. In the latter part of the story, Harry and his friends encounter different challenges in search for the “philosopher’s stone” which is believed to turn mercury to gold. It is also called the “elixir of life”, useful for rejuvenation and for achieving immortality. In the end, they were able to protect the stone from evil. Harry also learned a lot about who he is and about his parents since they went to the same school of Hogwarts as himself.
This book is magical.
