Alexandra Harris is once again back to narrate this novel just as she has been doing in the earlier chapters of the series. It seems that she managed to improve on her skills with every other chapter of the series. She managed to gain consistency in her performance and especially with her pronunciation of a few words that are used throughout this series. You will like her performance the most in this chapter.

After the uprising of the humans was put down brutally by the Elders, then just a few remaining cities under the human control were too far-flung. Just as a few communities tried hard on their own to rebuild, the Lakeside Courtyard emerged quite untouched. However, Simon and Meg were supposed to work along with the human group to ensure peace. But, it wouldn’t be an easy thing to do for them.
The author brought this novel and this series to a great ending. However, it feels like the author could add a lot more to this fantastic world that she has created. The fans of this series have requested the author to go further with new chapters. The author reciprocated well where a new sub-series is introduced under the same grand series of The Others (Bishop).
