For Her Benefit (See No Evil Trilogy #3)

See No Evil book 3. Standing ovations for this brilliantly written work of art. Amazeballs way of ending this set of books. Ben has a bunch of choices that may effect their relationship. Livy must give him a chance to do so of run away due to her issues. And all the while as they fight evildoers, they must fight for each other. Filled to the brim with WTF twisty plots, angsty turns, steamy AF sexiness and add kickass action scenes. A worthy read. Oh yeah and a big shout out to the Winston Isles family, they showed up and showed out. Loved every minute of this book.

This is the third and last book in the See No Evil Trilogy by Nana Malone. It starts where book two ends so if you haven’t read the first two start there. Seems Ben & Livy are always in some sort of trouble and the third book is full of intrigue and mysteries to solve. The whole Winston Isle crew ends up together once again to help Ben. The book is fun to read with tons of action and interesting characters that keep you reading to the very last page. This one is a really easy one-click.

Ben and Livy has had quite an adventure. Livy had an ex boyfriend boss who tried to stalk and kidnap her, while trying to finish a book about sex trafficking,her mom started before she died of cancer. But caused her to be kidnapped and trying to kill her. Ben belong to a secret society that he really didnt want to belong to, but family pressure as a kid, during initiation one of his best friends died and he wanted revenge. In the meantime things got really crazy, life and death situations. Crazy as hell. Hold on to your heart.

This book picks up right after Liv has been kidnapped. It is a suspenceful ride as Ben, East Bridge,Drew and Telly . Try to figure out how to take out a bad group of sex trafficers. With the help of the Winston Isles characters. The twist and turns make this book hard to put down as you go deep into an elite group of rich men who have secrets that they are willing to kill for. As Olivia escaped from some close calls she and Ben relationship gets closer. As they figure out that they are both trying to take out the same group of bad guys. I love they way Nana Malone writes you can feel the characters feeling and almost smell,feel, and see the scene around you. I can not wait for East book to come out.

Ok, so I just finished the trilogy. The initial blurbs sounded great, and I was excited for the series
Ben Covington is a billionaire, he and his friends are part of an elite organization. They discover ten years prior their friends died because of this club and they want revenge
Olivia Ashong is finishing her moms research and book on missing women.
Their lives intersect as they discover both of their objectives are connected
Its a great idea and had potential, so why only two stars?

Spoilers ahead –

These books need an editor desperately.
One the dialogue was really repetitive. You kept reading the same thoughts over and over but what really bugged me was lack of consistency.

I will just focus on the last book for examples

If two characters had a discussion about a topic and came to an agreement why wouldnt that be remembered a few chapters later?

Olivia and another character are abducted, as they make their escape a tablet is grabbed to be given to the police. Its not mentioned again

The reason for the book research was to look for a woman her mom interviewed but wasnt found again. The book doesnt resolve what happened to her. You can assume but it would be good to have confirmation

One of the abductors is caught and zip tied for the cops
A few chapters later its said he escaped but how?

A woman dies after Olivia and Ben speak with her. The phone is taken and their tech friends are working on getting information from it. Then its not mentioned again

Ben is injured seriously while being involved in a heist. That happens the same night Olivia is attacked and goes to the hospital
She doesnt notice his injuries? because when it was happening it sounded bad he would at least have had bruises
And when she was attacked the person tried to choke her and initially pulled a gun. Her injuries were from being stabbed? A knife wasnt ever mentioned

You might say well maybe she was out of it, but they have an interview with Interpol.
Also that character just pops up out of nowhere halfway through the last book.

So there are a lot of instances in all three books where an editor could have made sure dialogue, character development and plot lines stayed in sync.
It made reading it take longer than necessary because I would put down the story. It was making me nuts.

Like I said the premise was really good but I was disappointed in the execution.
The story ended with another characters up coming story
Again sounds like it will be pretty good but I will have to pass.
