Four Letter Word (Dirty Deeds #1)

It took me 3 days to even get through 50% thats how boring it was. I love this author, this book fell flat for me. Im surprised at all the 5 star reviews.

I can typically get past stupid decisions of the characters with a good storyline. Not this time.

Seriously, she starts a relationship only 2 days after her husband ask for a divorce? Her first time meeting him face to face she wants unprotected sex from this internet stranger? I stopped reading after that.

She acts in a way I just cant get onboard with.

I bought this book because of the reviews. Needless to say it started off weird and just kept getting worse. Trust me before you buy this book get a sample. Ive never read this author before and Im sure I never will waste money on her mess she call books again.

First I want to start by saying that I cant describe how proud I am of Jessica Daniels.
I still remember when I was on facebook, and I saw this beautiful cover with sugar lips and immediately caught my attention. But it was not until Where I Belong where I had the opportunity to read some of her. And then I went to sugar lips (Sweet Addiction) and I mean that was a sweet addiction. Literally.
I became addicted to the words of this author. A look forward to their insta-love stories and to make us believe that there is a soulmate somewhere where you least expect it.
An Indie author who has fulfilled a dream that many fail to achieve: to be published by a publishing house.
I feel that J. Daniels is characterized by making fun, hot stories, and the same time are a whole rollercoaster of emotions where these laughing like a hyena and the next crying like Mary Magdalene.
Four Letter Word for me is the best book of the author (and that I’m obsessed with all their stories), the story is addictive, the development of the characters, it shows that she has grown as a writer.
I loved it from the beginning I told me uh-uh something will go wrong in the middle of the story I told me everything is okay so nice we can leave it here because something will go wrong and then give us that sweet torture with a happy ending.
I loved the connection of the characters.
I loved that Sidney was a girl that despite everything that happened, can be strong and recover his essence. She was starting a new chapter of his life, one where not expect to find love but you know sometimes go wrong often need to find the right person.

Brian, Brian, Brian, with Channing Tatum as muse, J. Daniels just makes us love him more. He is a guy who is an Alpha in every sense of the word but has a sweet side, with a broken heart and a past that makes him vulnerable, untrusting but that he learn to open to love, to let him love from others.

This book is definitely in my top favorite, and certainly one of the best I’ve read in the year.
Its a book that stays with you and gives you a literary book-hangover. Its a book for more than you want to continue with another you just can not.

Four Letter Word is J. Daniels brand new release in her highly anticipated Dirty Deeds series. It’s her first venture into traditional publishing and she hit it out of the park!

Sydney Whittaker is fresh off of leaving her cheating husband when she dials a wrong number. Instead of lashing out at her best friends cheating ex, she misdials and rips Brian Savage a new one. Brian gets a kick out of Sydney’s Wild side and they start a romance strictly over the phone. It’s fun and playful and oh so hot.

“Best two and a half weeks of my life came from a girl who was never meant to give me anything. And she was giving me everything.”

Brian and Sydney don’t actually meet face to face until after fifty percent into the book. You don’t even realize they’ve not really met though! J. Daniels keeps it hot and fun and it’s all over the phone!

“It was all I needed. It was everything I needed. It was beautiful. It was us. And he was mine.”

Brian and Sydney end up meeting and hitting it off immediately, but Brian has some big skeletons buried that he doesn’t want dug up. S*** hits the fan and it left me sobbing. Literally sobbing! It’s not long-lived though, as Brian and Sydney get their heads on straight and get the HEA they deserve.

“You’re hitting my soul. No one’s ever hit that.”

I’ve been a fan of J. Daniels since she released her first book over two years ago. I’ve adored all of her writing but was so looking forward to Four Letter Word and she delivered! I went into this book completely blind and I’m so glad I did! I am completely enamored with J’s Dogwood Beach world and can’t wait for Hit The Spot coming in December!

Sydney was going though the motion of living life until it got pulled out from under her. Leaving that life behind to be with her best friend she finds her best friend in a similar situation just more heartbroken than her. She calls her friends ex to give him a piece for her mind but instead some poor unsuspecting guy gets an earful. Entertained by her words, passion, and commitment was exactly what was Brian needed to get out of his own funk in life. Brian reaches out to Sydney via text and begins a friendship with no intention to ever meet. Fate has other plans and they could have the greatest future beyond their dreams until secrets are revealed and the true test of there commitment to each other meets its own match. Sydney is loveable, emotional, and has lots of spunk. Brian is a tortured soul that loves deeply. I truly enjoyed this book and connected with the characters and their story. Another wonderful comical, emotional book by Ms. Daniel’s that keeps me coming back for more time and again. I highly recommend this book.
