Gluttony is, hands down, my favorite book of this series, so far. It has been the only one that seemed to have any growth arc for the characters, while still moving The Elite plotline forward. After the bizarre interlude that was Envy, I wasnt sure if the series could be redeemed, but Gluttony showed me this series might yet be redeemed. Im desperately hoping the final two books will live up to the heightened standard Gluttony has set for me. When this series started off and until I started Gluttony, I found Baxter God Goddard V to be the most unlikable of all the characters and thats saying something considering how vile Envy turned out to be. He surprised me from the start once I finally got to see what was going on in his head. I knew his less than ideal home life had screwed him up, but I had no idea to what extent the boy had been suffering. It was no excuse for the choices he was making, but it made the attention he was seeking much easier to understand. Zemira was not only the catalyst for Gods path to healing; she was also the guide. I wasnt sure how Ms. Webster was going to redeem God for what hed done to Zemira, but I was wholly content with how hed changed and adapted from the insolent boy hed been before the accident to the thriving man Z deserved by the end of the book. God had to face a lot of unpleasant truths about himself, but with Zemiras support, he tackled those issues head-on and overcame his inadequacies. The progression of the boys place in the Elite was quite satisfying in Gluttony. I was so happy not to rehash all of the Elite events wed already learned about in the first four books. Having Gods growth as a person begin to influence his stance on The Elite and his standing with the other guys was excellent. I loved seeing them begin to solidify their bond and stand-up to the status quo of the secret society. I love their feelings on what has been going on and can not wait to see how they put their plans into place as the series wraps up over the next two books.

Gluttony (The Elite Seven #5) audiobook in series The Elite Seven Series
I have fictionally licked Baxter Samuel Goddard V!!! #BaxBelongsToMari Now thats out the way. Holy smokes! K Webster really knows how to hit them out the ball park!! This series has taken a turn! And omg do I want to know everything!!!!! I loved God, he was amazing. I loved the demons he battled. Everything wasnt as it seemed but ten times better. I loved Z, fresh air with her! She grounded God in the best way possible. I can seriously keep on gushing about how great this book is but you need to read the series, this one completes it so well! Plus spoiler reviews kinda suck sometimes and it would give the series away. Just know K Webster did her thing, it was twisty, it was dark, it was gritty, it was sexy, it was a page turner at its finest!

Audiobook Gluttony (The Elite Seven #5) by K Webster
I was dancing on deaths doorstep, but I had an angel. A dark, screwed up angel watching over me. An angel named God. Gluttony by K. Webster is still swimming in my head and I truly dont think my review will do the story justice. First, I am not new to Kristis writing and have in fact enjoyed many titles in her backstock. I find her ability to write across several subgenres within the romance world fun and it provides a diversity that not all authors are capable of. Gluttony was an absolutely outstanding addition to the Elite Seven Series and should not be missed! While its actually a complete romance in its own right and each book in the series pertains to individual H/h, it\’s part of a series with a continuous plot that should be read in the following order: The Elite Seven Series: Lust (The Elite Seven, #1) by Ker Dukey Pride (The Elite Seven, #2) by J.D. Hollyfield Wrath (The Elite Seven, #3) by Claire C. Riley Envy (The Elite Seven, #4) by M.N. Forgy Gluttony (The Elite Seven, #5) by K Webster Sloth (The Elite Seven, #6) by Giana Darling Greed (The Elite Seven, #7) by Ker Dukey and K Webster I have been absolutely loving the Elite Seven series, and they are without a doubt some of my most anticipated reads every few weeks. Gluttony was everything I expected from K. Webster. Its dark and twisted with a sexy, fast-paced storyline that kept me turning page after page to read straight through. I loved the complexity of Gods character. Money doesnt ensure you will be happy and that was never truer than in Gluttony. The plot twists that were inherent in the series have surprised me again and again, and I absolutely love the unpredictability. Of course, I am a huge dark romance junkie and Gluttony provided all the dark and twisted romance I was craving! Also, at this very moment, I am beside myself waiting for Sloth by Giana Darling Dont wait to start this series, get to reading right. This. Minute!!!!!! QUOTES: Whatever task Pride gives me, aside from murder or some $hit, I should be able to handle. Besides, when youre Gluttony, what can they really make you do? Eat ten burgers? Get …faced on wine? I really dont understand how theyll incorporate the sin into my task. Hes God all right. Baxter Samuel Goddard V, heir to an oil fortune and third richest family in the entire world. Money is the root of all evil. My words are meant to hurt him. He simply shrugs. Its the only thing I have. I suppose that makes God the devil. Z, I cant get enough of you. I want it all, he murmurs hotly against my skin. I want to feast on you forever. Only you. Ive never wanted someone or something so badly in my life. Youve consumed my every thought. Im dizzied by his kiss consumed by the way he devours me as though Im his. But Im not his. Zemira is in my blood, in my veins, in my soul. Burning through me like lava hot and explosive. Changing me. Evolving me. Hiding the ugly parts and molding me into something new. Im … addicted to her. I still have her sweet honey on my tongue and Im hungry for more. Never enough. Never satisfied. Ill consume her until theres nothing left. Its what I do. Something sad and broken inside of him calls to me.

Audio Gluttony (The Elite Seven #5) narrated by Alex Kydd Amelie Griffin
The fifth book in the Elite Seven series and this is Baxter Samuel Goddard V story and it doesn\’t disappoint one bit. Always well written, K Webster gives us angst galore, lots of suspense and a good dollop of hot steamy sex to devour as well; K never lets her readers down that\’s for sure !! I had trouble at first connecting with God as he acts like a right spoilt brat and he thinks himself better than anyone else but God has deep seated problems and peeling back his layers as you read is addictive and extremely enjoyable to explore. We see all sort of traits in God you would least expect and he did grow on me more and more as the book progressed. Zemira is a complete opposite to God, and they meet in the most shocking of ways which will take your breath away, BUT this is when we see a different God immerse. It\’s a bit like watching a caterpillar change into the butterfly, it really did make me feel a sense of fullness and happiness – with some setbacks along the way of course, and being the person he is God is also good for Zemira in ways you would never guess. This young lady maybe unsure of herself and have doubts and worries about her life but she is one strong women and I enjoyed her character so much. Another enthralling fascinating read in this series and I can\’t wait for more, next up is Sloth by Gianna Darling – bring it on !!!

The contents irritated me. It was just a remake of poor little rich boy saved by Cinderella coupled with rich people are unhappy. God kept complaining about his father because of his excesses but he was quite happy to benefit from them. Every time he had an issue he got daddy to fix it for him. His father obviously didnt know how to show love but he looked after him and protected him so I dont see why he hated him so much. His mother wasnt much better and didnt show him any love yet he didnt despise her why? Also instead of crying about it, he could actually go to school, learn something so he could do something instead of just sitting back. Having advisers is no substitute. Its not only for him and his family legacy but for the people employed by his companies. This all selling my cars and homes is just another indulgence. What wrong with having a fast car? You just need to drive sensibly thats all. I can see why she love the shack because it was her refuge but selling his ancestral home is silly. A home is more than a house. They could have just instill life in the old place. There is no glory in living in a fixer upper. Their new society is not more noble if they are going to use the book of sins. The only positive here is what God did for the orphanage.
