Grantville Gazette VI (Grantville Gazette: Print Version #6) audiobook free

It contains stories found elsewhere. I have all the books from 1632 to Commander Cantrell in the West Indies. And also have the anthologies 1 through 4. I then started on the Gazette series but found that some of the stories had already been printed in vol 5. I am now on vol 8 and found the same thing. Each volume from 5 to 8 has stories that have already been printed. Don’t get me wrong I love the Ring of Fire novels, anthologies and Gazette articles. I just do not like to pay for something I have already read. Bummer.

It was a pleasure to read most of these stories, but (as in any anthology), some of them were just ok. However, this would be a hard book to pick up and enjoy if you aren’t already a fan of the series.
Start with the 1632 written-by-Eric books (AVOID the one by Virginia!), and you will enjoy the series, and then will enjoy this book.

Being the happy reader, and owner, of all the “Ring of Fire” series I was disappointed with this one. There is a lot of deviation from the essence of the series and several of the stories did not seem, to me at least, to fit with the timelines and incidents from the main story line. Having said all this there were some good stories which maintained the high standards of the series and had positive links to the main books .
