I really love GiGi, her humor, and her honesty. However, this book just missed the mark. She has a lot of great stories to tell but I didn’t feel like all the wonderful things about her personality transferred into this book. Overall it was dry and not well-written. The section on her “Gigi-isms” was so bad it made me cringe. I will continue to support her and hope her writing improves.

I’ve followed Gigi since her Gregory Gorgeous days, and I was looking forward to this book. It’s a memoir about being trans and a lesbian without being a memoir that follows the LGBT memoir script. Much like any Gigi story, this is a little hard to follow and nonlinear but rewarding.

ABsolutely terrible. Poorly written and basically makes no sense. She looks like Kelly Ann Conway.
