The killing machine known as Evan Smoak is back for the trilogy and this time he is not helping others rather he is helping his self. His enemies caught him and then drugged him because they thought they could keep him down but they were wrong. Buy a Bullet and The Nowhere Man were full of struggles and troubles through which Evan went through.
Evan wants to return the pains to the enemy as he is going nowhere until his enemies are sent to their graves.
HELLBENT
With revenge in his heart, the man moves forward and then a telephone call shifts his focus once more. Jack Johns calls him after a long time for some special reason i.e save the new Orphan x from the enemy.
The Orphan x program has been terminated by the government and all the children which Jack trained in the past have been killed except Evan and the last recruit in the academy. Jack wants Evan to look for that kid and save him because he does not know what is coming towards him. Van Sciver who is now the head of the Orphan x program wants to get rid of all the past evidence so that he can start everything all over again.
Gregg Hurwitz again shifts Evan’s attention from his personal goal and he is back to helping others. With Scott Brick’s narration intact the novel goes back to the first part where it all started at the training room for Orphan X. Evan also from now on has to keep this new Orphan X safe and close to him all the time.
