Callahan Garrity always brings into the story and makes us care about all the people in her life. Since I live in Atlanta,I follow the story through the streets. That adds to the enjoyment.

Homemade Sin (Callahan Garrity Mystery #3) audiobook in series Callahan Garrity Mystery
This was a good book. I had to keep reading to see if Callahan would reconcile with her mother and extended family. She did persist until justice was done but received little cooperation from her family. This book was not as light hearted as some of the author\’s other books in this series. It is understandable because she was grieving the loss of her cousin and dealing with some of Atlanta\’s criminal population.

Audiobook Homemade Sin (Callahan Garrity Mystery #3) by Mary Kay Andrews
Hesitated to give it one star, it was readable but certainly not what I\’ve come to expect from Mary Kay Andrews. The barely hidden racism stews together with a predictable and unexciting plot (sans any interesting characters) makes this one difficult to finish. I wasn\’t sure about this series, and I\’m glad I only purchased the first two, rather than the whole series.

Audio Homemade Sin (Callahan Garrity Mystery #3) narrated by Hillary Huber
Once again, Mary Kay Andrews has written a fun read. I like her humor, the \”average\” people and their normal ups and downs. Intrigue when the detective is working on a case. Like a good \”recipe\” not too much of anyone ingredient.

This is well worth the read. The book has a lot of twists and ends with amazing plot. Who would have guessed who really committed the murders?
