House of Leights (Secret Keepers #3)

Oh my dae!!! This without a doubt is my favorite book by the amazing Ms. Eve!! It has everything you could wish for! Romance, action, over protective males and the women who they melt into little puddles of goo for are also a fierce force! Prepare to be held hostage as you quickly are carried away into this story! Revenge, steam, drama, adventure, snark and the occasional confused character scenes will have the words floating off their pages to grab your full attention. You may also find a new book boyfriend or two or three…. but who\’s counting? Maya is one fabulous and spunky girl. You really wish you could hang out with her. Chase is one extreme guy when it comes to his woman\’s safety and he totally possess a heart made of gold. It\’s a beautiful thing to watch the relationship play out between Maya and Chase and also between the girls The action scenes are memorable and thankfully not drawn out. Ms. Eve is a master storyteller! She creates these different worlds that have such a magical beauty and essence to them. Her characters are always so stunningly real…. they are so absolutely fleshed out that you literally fall in love with them. This book without a doubt pulled upon my heartstrings and I am certain that Maya will remain one of my favorite characters ever after

**********Contains Spoilers********** Thanks Jaymin what another awesome book in the series. I Loved how Maya got sweary when she was angry, It was also cool to see her friendship/bond with Ben. I liked how Chase and Mayas relationship progressed and I love the Secret Keepers uniform being black converse and that it seemed to bond the girls easier/more due to them. Each book seems to get slightly better than the last thats hard to write considering theyre awesome and Ive read the whole series at 5 times this year, I love them so much. I also love how strong the bond is between all the overlords that have been friends/brothers for years even in conflict, the bond between the secret keepers, the bond thats formed for each couple so far and the bond between everyone theyre all family its awesome. Im looking forward to reading the next book as I enjoy reading about Xander and Avalon, and seeing whats behind Xanders stony personality. Id recommend this series and Jaymin Eve to anyone which I do all the time since this series and Jaymin are the Sh*t lol

House of Leights is the third book in Jaymin Eve\’s new Secret Keeper series. With each new edition in this series I get more excited for the next installment! I love how with each new book we get to meet more amazing characters and see how as individuals they add to the over all dynamic of the group! Maya is a good cross between the first two secret keepers and I absolutely love how patient, loving and accepting chase is with her. The land of the Leights with their ancient sentient trees is my favorite so far and I look forward to seeing some fan art based on Jaymin\’s descriptions hint hint lol. I love that Star is getting the chance to have a mate, she deserves the chance to share the huge amount of love that fills her heart! I was happy to get a quick glimpse of Rao and really look forward to seeing more of him in the next book, I feel he will continue to be a game changer. Probably the most amusing thing in House of Leights is Xander fighting fate and the thought that the fourth secret keeper will become his bonded mate…..hahahaha just you wait!

As air as the story goes. I love this kind of stuff. Romantic. Humorous. Dramatic and action packed all in a nice, easy read. BUT…. as far as the audible version goes…. they changed the narrator from Vanessa Moyen. This new narrator for maya makes her even MORE spoiled, whiny, and annoying. I get that maya and chase are supposed to be all calm and chill but dude. Now they are just so pretentious and snotty. Im groaning and rolling my eyes. GAGGING every time maya says anything. How obnoxious. THANKFULLY the narrator did not ruin EMMA at all. I recommend you READ the book and NOT LISTEN to it. Ick

I was already intrigued by Chase so I am so excited his story was so perfect! I was on the fence initially about Maya, but she proved to be another amazing addition to the Secret Keeper group. The team of keepers and overlords experience so much in this book as they attempt to keep Maya and her family safe while looking for the fourth keeper. The romance between Maya and Chase is amazing and sweet. Plus you get to learn more about Laous and what powers the guys have through some epic battles. Its an amazing world and while Im excited to get the next book Im sad to see it end soon. Xanders story should be awesome! I highly recommend you read this series!!
