How to Date Your Dragon audiobook free
I will sat, the plot was good and I am excited to read the next book. But the one spicy scene in this book was so quick and poorly written that I’m pretty sure the author did not want to write it and did not know how to write it. There was no build up. No tension. Just boom. Sex. Done. No more. It’s a shifter romance, so ya know, it’s kind of expected? But I digress, the book was still really good.

This was a great start to a great series. It’s fun and laugh out loud amusing throughout. The sexy time scenes seemed a little out of place. Like they could have been setup a little better. “Wow that’s a lot of rain. That’s neat.” Boom. Now they’re naked. It took me a minute to realize that I hadn’t skipped a page. That’s really the only negative I have. I will say that I love dragon shifters and the true name thing is always cool. This however was the best true dragon name I’ve seen so far. Absolutely my favorite part!

Audiobook How to Date Your Dragon by Molly Harper
Really happy I gave this book a try. I was looking for something new and that I could enjoy reading just for the sake of the story…something that didn’t have huge plot twist or was so drama filled it made me almost depressed. It was light, funny and just plan fun. I’ll have to pick up some more from this author.

Audio How to Date Your Dragon narrated by Amanda Ronconi
A human anthropologist and the sometimes snarly sheriff (who happens to be a supernatural of epic proportions) of Mystic Bayou. Things were already a teeny bit tense between them (because Bael wasn’t keen on Jillian ferreting out ALL the town’s secrets) and then a few townsfolk get murdered.
Little town, big problem.
Fortunately for Jillian, Bael’s snarls aren’t directed at her in a personal sense. He’s just a little on edge about the potential exposure of Mystic Bayou’s biggest secret. While his snarls aren’t personal, his interest in her turns out to be. And the more he learns about her, the more he likes her.
On Jillian’s end, she’s trying her hardest to keep her first assignment from crashing and burning. Bael is a distraction who’s kinda hard (so hard!) to ignore. Especially when the bodies start showing up.
This one was fun. A town full of supernatural hotties, a dangerous phenomenon out in the swamp, and a dangerous predator on the hunt. Good stuff all around.

I loved the story, especially the friendship between Bael and Zed. In fact, Zed gets along with every person in the book. Bael only has disagreements with his cousin Balfour (really Balfour doesn’t get along with anyone) and Jillian at the beginning of the book. But when they go to see the rift in the bayou, it was like a switch was flipped! They went from barely civil to way more than friends with benefits!! There were also a few spots that details didn’t get full described, leaving me confused. I’d go back to check if I’d just missed something, a sentence or two, but nope, the details were missing. I own all available Molly Harper books but one, and I’ve read all the paranormal romance except the next in this series, and I think if I’ve seen issues like this, it was in her Bluegrass series. Obviously it wasn’t a huge problem for me, but enough to pull you out of the flow of the story. I’m excited to see which character gets the next book, I’m hoping for Zed!!
