It took me 2 years to finally start book 1. Why? Because the romance was long and redundant. Now that there are more than just a couple discovering their lifemate status the plot has grown and the wider vision more interesting. I have grown to love all the characters in the first 10 books but the introduction of the jaguars and the dragonseekers really opens up the Carpathain horizon. I will continue because I am now addicted, but I am very unhappy at the prices. Surely loyal followers should get some kind of price break somewhere. I see none anywhere. Seems especially greedy. Sorry but I had to say it.

Dark Symphony audiobook in series Dark
I have read this book before but, I dont think that I did a review. So, as I was reading this book I tried to remember who did it & it wasnt the Butler (as there isnt one) & there arent any vampires in this book either.
At the most this book is definitely a paranormal romance book with a little mystery going on.
Byron, who, if youre reading this series in order was 1st mentioned in Jacques & Sheas story (Book 2 – Dark Desire). In this book he meets his lifemate & decides to court her; but, not everything goes as planned.
Now its your time to read this book to find out what happens.

Dark Symphony audiobook by Christine Feehan
In some of the later books it talks about new characters and I didn’t understand where they came in from, but this book shows me several of them and gives me a back story on them! Aside from that, this book will pull you into the storyline and you will travel through the story with the characters and experience their adventures for your own! I’m recommending this particular book and series to one and all, because I’ve been reading these artfully crafted and uniquely designed stories for several years and every time I get a new book, I start from scratch and read them from the beginning! I love reading anything from this amazing author! She has created several series that are simply extraordinary!

Dark Symphony audio narrated by Abby Craden
This is such a sweet book to read, especially after the readers last see Byron in Dark Desire. The first glimpse of the jaguar species, it gives more insight into the human women that are compatible with the Carpathian males.
I really love that the author is sticking with the guys waiting and courting the women. I think this also may be the first time that the readers get an actual age on the woman as well.
In all honesty, the couple wasnt really what kept me reading and if it was just them I might have been bored. Dont get me wrong, they were cute and sweet but they were kind of slow and while I understand it, it went just a little slow for me.
The plot and the mystery were what were going for me, though I do feel like the culprit could have been added for shock value since there wasnt really anything leading up to it. I liked it though, it was a great plot twist when I first read this book.
I thought it was interesting to have a blind lifemate but I feel like there should have been more description about texture and the feel of things.
I loved meeting Josef and actually getting his age put him and I think the Carpathians in perspective, hes the same age as I am right now and acts like a fifteen year old. I know Savannah was 23 when the readers saw her in Dark Magic but she basically had to grow up really fast. I absolutely loved Byron and Jacques reconciling and whats this new line of Carpathians, the Dragonseekers? Sounds interesting.

I loved that we were able to catch up with the scarletti family and find out how they came by their powers. The history of the family was wonderful. Also the insight into Byron that was missing in his character appearance and motivation from the second book in this series was wonderful. It helped me to understand the person he became years after that story concluded.
