Harloe Rae gives us another spectacularly sweet and sexy small town romance. Enemies to lovers, Crawford Ford Doxe and Keegan Daniels light up the pages with their banter and sassy sniping at one another.

At first, these two are like oil and waterthey just dont mix. Arguments and harsh words pass frequently between them. But for Millie, Keegans daughter, the two form a sort of truce, as the shy little girl has taken a liking to Ford.

After spending time together, Keegan and Fords relationship changes from tenuous friendship to having feelings for each other. But can they get past Keegans jaded past with men and Fords self-imposed loner status and feelings of inadequacy to find something amazing neither was looking for?

There is nothing better than a book with characters you want to squeeze and Loner had exactly that. Keegan and Milly were the best team and then came Ford who blew into their lives, setting Keegan on her behind and Milly jumping for joy. It was the greatest mixture of love if I’d ever seen it. The characters leaped off the pages and right into my heart, melting it like butter. Harloe has a way with doing that from the beginning to end. And Loner was no exception. I’ll cherish this one forever. All I want to do now is hug these characters, but my kindle will have to do.

Wow! What to say? Harloe Rae is a genius with words. If she wasnt already my favorite author, this book would have done that for me. Ford is everything: snarky, sweet, and deliciously handsome. I love me a reclusive bad boy. Something about a man who couldnt care less what anyone thinks…mmmhhhmmm, count me in! Keegan and her sweet as sugar daughter Millie are a wonderful added bonus. This story was perfectly written. No story has had me laughing, crying, and swooning so much. A well deserved rating of 5 fantastic stars for Loner.

Harloe has done it once again! Shocker..right? Her books keep getting better by the page and this one is no different. I absolutely love a good enemies to lovers book and this one was one of the best ones Ive read (although Ask Me Why is pretty fantastic too). The characters in this book are very likable and the flow of the story is great, you will stay hooked from beginning to end. Even if at times you want to scream at them both for making complete fools of themselves. Sutton, Grey, Dell, and Decker make appearances in this book as well so it was nice to see a few of our favorite characters from Breaker and Keeper. But the true gem of the book was and will remain is Millie. A sweet little girl who has her eyes set on Crawford because he knows what its like to be quiet. She wants him to be her Daddy now if only he could be nice to her mama…
Crawford Ford has been hardened by life with his father. He has been told all his life hes worthless and that he will never have anyone to love him. Rather than dealing with his demons he hides from them and refuses to let anyone into his life, until he meets Keegan and Millie.
Keegan is a single mom who has been on her own since her parents died when she was 18. Her past with men has left her scared and unable to trust them. She begins to think that maybe her life has changed when a stunningly sexy biker comes to her rescue to fix a tire…that is until he opens his mouth. How can such a sexy man be such a jerk? She vows to steer clear of him but that fails when he comes to her rescue a second time, this time saving Millie. Millie and Ford bond almost immediately and an unlikely friendship begins between the three of them. As their friendship grows so do their feelings towards each other, Keegan is still weary of him and Ford still thinks hes no good for anyone despite their growing attractions to one another. But when Fords Dad makes an unexpected trip to his garage while Millie is with him Ford realizes his dad is right. Hes no good for anyone. With a broken heart and tears running down her face Millie returns home to Keegan shattered. Ford ends things with Keegan…Days later he realizes what a disaster he made of things. Keegan was right. Hes a coward. Now whats he going to do about it?

5 LONER STARS!! Freaking fantastic….this book took my breath away. I absolutely loved Ford and Keegan….they were perfect in every way. Their story has all the feels and kept me turning pages. You should definitely download this book it is so good.
