Sith Lords and the Emperor are not the heroes in the series, their characters are full of darkness and evil from head to toe. Paul S. Kemp for some of the listeners has tried to prove Darth and the Emperor equal to the heroes in the novel.
This is not the case; the author has tried to tell us the full potential of these two lords of the dark side. Their relation with each other gets more time and the book clarifies different things in the Sith order. Jonathan Davis narrates the destruction of the Emperor’s ship in the beginning chapters. Along with the Emperor, his apprentice i.e Darth Vader was also present on the ship. The two were going to have a look at the situation in Ryloth.
LORDS OF THE SITH: STAR WARS audiobook free
Ryloth was a planet full of drugs and the Emperor wanted it under his control. When the ship is hit the two don’t think of anything else except saving their own life. After landing on their feet with not a lot of damage done to their bodies the two realize that they are in the world of the rebels. The only way to survive is to hang on to each other but in Sith, world deception is the key to rising.
Star Wars: The Old Republic: Deceived and The Godborn was about heroes, here the author has presented energetic villains who don’t follow any code when it comes to the saving of their skin. An apprentice can even deceive his master to save him and rise in rank. The perfect opportunity appears for Darth as well to rise i.e after destroying the Emperor on the land of the rebels.
