Made In London (London Romance #6)

Another delightful book from the queen of fun. Clare Lydon’s brilliant sense of humor sets her apart from so many romance writers today. Her language just seems to be organic – she can’t help but be funny. I enjoyed reading about this couple in their forties. Heidi is a photographer, single mother by choice and Eden is a PR whiz. Their first couple of meetings are clumsy at best, but when they try dating, clumsy turns chaotic! These two women are so likable and relatable and little Maya reminds us just how special children are. I highly recommend this book for a feel good read with heart, fun and passion. Clare Lydon has done it again!

Another very good book! This one with MCs Eden and Heidi deal with a lovely romance with a twist. Said twist, is no other than two year old Maya who is the adorable daughter of single mother Heidi. Eden is terrified of relationships and children because her upbringing with first her all the time absent mother and then her grandmother whom she loved very much.

That kind of upbringing does not bode well for Heidi to develop a very sweet love relationship which she ultimately was successful to achieve with Eden. The supporting cast was terrific and little Maya stole the show for me.

Overall, a well written book and look forward to the next book in this series.

We all have our own image of family, parents, children and relationships. But what if they are not the warm loving ones most people seem to have? Are those things still something you want, and if you do, are they something you can have, something you deserve? Eden has shut all of those things out of her life and hidden herself away in her safe and controlled job. Bumping into Heidi (quite literally) has shaken things up and one kiss at a festival drafts her to break Eden out of her cocoon. This is another wonderful addition to the London series and Ms. Lydon has brought new characters to life with all of their flaws as well as their strengths. Add children, allergies and dog poop toast and the laughs are as good as the love. Thank you Clare for all these new friends.

Its been a while since I read the previous books in this series, but I dont remember them being as non-stop funny as this one. This book had very little angst, just a comedy of errors in trying to get a relationship started between the main characters. I enjoyed it and recommend this whole series.

Dating is tough especially when you are a single mom and the other has a lot of habits and mommy issues. Making sure that your first date isn’t your last date, is very challenging. This and so much more, makes this a great read. It has appealing characters, ridiculous situations and written with great humor. Made in London is a fantastic addition to the London romance series. Kudos to the author.
